Keep groceries chilled and accessible to the whole family with this Samsung refrigerator. The counter-height FlexZone drawer is ideal for storing snacks that kids can easily grab and enjoy.

2 design flaws

I purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago. So far, I have encountered 2 design flaws. The first involves the formation of an ice dam in the freezer defrost drain, eventually causing buildup of ice on the drain tray and the floor of the freezer compartment. Easily fixed ($180). The second involves the freezer temperature sensor. It is located on the upper surface of the freezer, but hangs about a half inch into the compartment. Food in the upper freezer tray can strike it, ripping out the sensor. If wires remain, it can be rewired and secured ($95). If not, time for a new fridge ($$$$)
Samsung was no help at all. They make great electronics and repair prone appliances.
