Good but register the warranty

I bought this for a few reasons. I personally find on screen keyboards to be horrible, so have to have a keyboard for my tablet. And I have used a Zagg keyboard for my iPad 2 for years. In fact It lasted 3.5 years or so before the case broke enough that I stopped using it. So my experience with the company and its customer service allowed me to ignore the reviews and give this keyboard a try anyway. I've wanted a backlit keyboard for years but simply could not justify the cost for my old iPad.
Sad to say, I had this one for only a week when I noticed the first crack. I immediately applied for a warranty replacement and its on its way.
We'll give it another try and see how that one goes.
I do love the design and the ability. To simply pull off the iPad from the keyboard, freeing myself up like my other folio did not allow. I can go from tablet mode to typing mode in seconds.
That said, it is like other reviews have said, the part that goes over the back of the iPad seems to be made of a very brittle plastic that cracks with the least stress. It also seems to be just a fraction of a millimeter too small, making it very difficult to get the iPad in securely.
I would also note that you can only use official apple chargers with this cover. Or at least the two third party ones I have both have lightning plugs whose plastic base is too large, meaning it will not fit in the case to make contact to charge. So may wish to plan accordingly there. This case scuppered my plan to use a nice long charging cord because it will not fit.
So I do recommend this, but my recommendation is based more on years of experience with the company than it is this product. They do have excellent customer service. Which is the reason I ignored the reviews and bought it anyway. My replacement should be arriving soon and I'll give it a try, and if that one fails, I will be trying to exchange for something else or returning it to Best Buy. So I do recommend, but again, based on company history, however I would definitely caution owners to go and register their product online so they can take advantage of the warranty if need be.
Time will tell if another version of this is worth it or if this is a product that's great in theory but lacking in execution.
My Best Buy number: 2744052413

Complete waste of money
on August 12, 2013

I bought this with my touch at the end of June. Was sitting using my touch this morning and noticed a piece of the case was gone. A little more exploration revealed that there were a multitude of cracks on the case, especially where the plastic is thin. This device hasn't been dropped and spends its time in a knitted sleeve in a padded case, so not abused in the slightest.
The only redemption is that I got this on clearance, but now I know why. . Do not waste your time and money on it.
Now I'm just hoping that the second one lasts long enough for me to get something else ordered to protect my device.
What's great about it: They are pretty colors
What's not so great: Didn't even last two months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This set serves up every episode from the third season of the supernatural series Sanctuary, a show that follows a group of very different people who investigate and do their best to protect strange creatures that few people realize live among us.

A fun and intriguing show.

Sanctuary is a series that's a mix of scifi and monster movie with a dose of the X-files tossed in. In an universe that looks a lot like ours, but is populated with mermaids, lizard people and the occasional vampire, Amanda Tapping – of Stargate fame – plays Helen Magnus, a 160+ year old woman who's devoted her life to studying the world's 'oddities'. Sometimes protecting the monsters from the rest of the world, other times stopping said monsters from hurting others.
Magnus' team is comprised of Will Zimmerman, a psychologist and ex-FBI profiler, Kate Freelander, a bad girl gone good and Henry Foss, a werewolf who's also a technological genius.
Adding to the quirkiness of the show, Bigfoot is Helen's butler and she's, over the decades, rubbed elbows with an endless assortment of history's figures, including having once dated Jack the Ripper.
Season three is the first twenty episode season for the show and, to me, the show itself shows the stress. I found many episodes to be enjoyable, but others were decidedly not to my taste. I think it is very much a 'your mileage may vary' moment with some of them. But even with the episodes I didn't like there were plenty that I did.
The set is a 6 disc set with the 6th disc being entirely made up of specials:
Visual effects Season 3
Amanda Tapping directs One Night
Hollow Earth
Damian Kindler: In the Director's Chair
The music of Sanctuary
Behind the Scenes, Normandy
Sanctuary for Kids
Character Profile, Nikola Tesla
Bloopers/Outtakes
Deleted Scenes
There are also audio commentaries on some of the episodes Kali III, Animus, Breach, Hollow Men, Metamorphosis, Normandy, and Out of the Blue.
My biggest issue is with the packaging. The DVDs are nested on top of each other, for example you have to remove #1 to watch #2. I much rather prefer individual clamshells so I don't have to handle any more discs than I have to to watch them.
What's great about it: The extras
What's not so great: The packaging

First, the extras got a 3 simply because I haven't explored them and I'm going by Disney's habit of 'ok' extras.
I saw this in the theater with my 4 year old niece and she adores it. It's funny and has jokes for adults that sail right over the kids heads, yet has kids jokes that they love. She got a little spooked at a couple of places, but nothing bad or horrible.
The animation is good and the voice talent very good.
Definitely a good movie for the kidlets that adults will enjoy too.
What's great about it: animation, voice talent, music
What's not so great: Don't count on the premiere week 'free plush', they ran out early on the first day with no apparent 'second chance'

Could be worse, but not the best

I do like how the games are sorted out into five categories, card, puzzle, action, word, and one other I can't recall. what I don't like, most of these games last 'forever', as in you play until you lose. Well one time I played for 45 minutes. I don't like having a marathon, I like playing a game to kill a few minutes. And there is no 'return later' option beyond closing the lid, which drains the battery.
The game has 'wizard points' (25 per game) and badges to earn, something i'm sure was meant to motivate, but all it did was get me to read and see what i needed to do to earn the badge. And once a game is mastered, there's not much drive to keep playing it.
Some of the games feel 'rigged' to have you never win, such as the pipe sludge game where the game will sometimes never give you a piece you need to finish.
And you are crippled by a lack of direction and 'how to play' info. In the canon fire game I have yet to figure out how to use the extra ammo that I win.
I've also had an issue with the games that have me moving something around on the screen - such as guiding the ball through the electromaze - and the simple fact of my stylus making the screen hard to see, i can't see where i'm going because the stylus blocks my view.
Not the worst game out there, but disappointing considering how many times I've played Touchmaster 2 and 1.
If they release a touchmaster 4, it won't be a 'gotta have' but a 'wait and see what others say' because I don't feel this was worth the 29.99 price tag.
For #4, I would love to see a 'pick it up later' save function and more explanation of how to play the games, because I've been playing some since Christmas and still haven't figured them out.
What's great about it: More games, plenty of variety
What's not so great: No 'resume later' option, games are endless
