What does the American Dream mean today? For Niko Bellic, fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape his past. For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity. As they slip into debt and are dragged into a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream. In a city that worships money and status, life is heaven for those who prosper and a living nightmare for those who don't. Developed by the superstar designers at Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV continues the exciting legacy of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

First off, great game. The gun gameplay is good yet i wish it was easier to switch to manuel aim -.- The first play through is amazing but after you know what's going on it get's boring. The thing that GTA IV lack's is the freedom, yes you get the whole city to explore but there is hardly any shop's, you can't swim under-water, build up your stamina or some abb's, get tattoo's, haircut's...But whether or not that stuff was really all that important in San Andreas anyway i don't know :S A great game but could have been even better. 4/5.
What's great about it: Beautiful
What's not so great: Not better then the last one

This a fine example of how boring horror films have managed to get in today's modern world. This film is absolutely nothing in comparison to it's original counterpart, and unfortunately I cannot get the 1 hour 43 minutes of my life I wasted on it.
Although I do believe it was a good move to have a different plot in order to better fit with the times (not many crazy wax sculptors about these days), I found difficulty with the plot. It was hardly actually explained why the characters were doing what they were supposed to be doing, the full basis of the background story and what exactly was supposed to be happening.
The film starts out very, very slowly and within the first eighteen minutes, nothing of note had really happened. In the first eighteen minutes of the 1953 version, Price had already gone insane.
If you're expecting death from the moment you put the BD into your player, be ready for disappointment, because it takes the young people a long, long time to actually find the place where they will ultimately meet their doom.
This Film deserves 1 Star but I am in a giving mood
What's great about it: Paris Hilton
What's not so great: Paris Hilton acting

Michael is Back

Wherever or not you enjoyed Rob Zombies "re-imagining" of Halloween. You cannot deny that he injected new life in to the franchise. Bringing something new and different to the series while still managing to make it feel somehow familiar. In this sequel Zombie totally makes it his own. Though the first twenty minutes are similar to the 1981 version and takes place in a hospital. After that the film jumps ahead two years and mainly deals with the trauma, nightmares and bizarre hallucinations that plague Laurie Strode (Scout Taylor-Compton). The cinematography is dark and grimy lit. Visually this gives a real, almost documentary feel to the film. As with the first film the kills are brutal. Zombie photographs violence like no one else. Nothing comic about the gore in this. The way its shot and the sound FX of cracking flesh and bones are truly disturbing. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was Michael Myers "new" look. Gone are the blue overalls. What we have now is a hooded coat and half torn mask revealing his face. But this is just an insignificant detail because Tyler Mane is still the most frightening Michael ever. I may not really agree with what Zombie has done with Michaels look, but the direction that he takes Dr. Loomis (Malcolm McDowell) is a stroke of genius. In a separate story that runs alongside Myers and Strode. We see that Loomis has become a fame hungry arrogant sell-out, who will do anything to exploit his association with Myers. Even if it means putting people in danger. Sherri Moon-Zombie is back as Michael's mother. In what maybe a homage to Psycho? She appears to Michael in creepy hallucinations. Other cast members that stand out are Brad Dourif, Danielle Harris and Caroline Williams. Oh and lookout for a humorous Weird Al Yankovic cameo. I would highly recommend horror/slasher fans giving this ago. But be warned to truly appreciate this I think you may have to be that a Rob Zombie fan.
What's great about it: a great attempt for a different approach
What's not so great: Not the best Halloween...

I am a big fan of all of the original Halloween (except #3). I definately don't think that Rob Zombie was able to top the original Halloween, but he shed some light on many things that were left up to the imagination.how michael myers escaped...what drove him to kill his sister, though he kills most of his family in the origional....how his costume came to be ....how he knew how to find Lori..etc..I also have to give Rob Zombie credit for bringing a darkness to this movie that John Carpenter couldn't, in fact there aren't many directors willing to be as to do most of the things that Rob Zombie will gladly do. Which i think is amazing. Bottom line, I think he did an amazing job with this remake..
What's great about it: Offers more story than the originals
What's not so great: Great price

my ps2 won't work

i put it on with a game and it goes to browse and won't start and the top of the ps2 is broken but all i had to do was to push it down and it worked and i was playing it last night now it won't work.
If the top of PS2 was broken then that isn't good. you either need to repair it or replace it with a new PS2 console system
