one of the horror classics of the 70's-80's era'

well alot of people know this is a classic horror movie and now its been revamed for bluray , the picture quality is excellent and you can really tell so much more detial than just a regular dvd copy , the sound quality is good even thow its not amazing what do you expect from such an old film that been put onto bluray
aside everything, the shining is a great film for fans and alo people who havnt yet seen it , very scary even to todays standards and the acting is top notch

What's not so great: Picture Quality is simply excellent

Okay movie

I had a modestly good time with this film in the cinema, better as a horror than a comedy, but certainly pretty enjoyable. Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried hand in assured performances and the script is often amusing with some occasional spooky moments. The director over-directs certain scenes and tries to hard with the visuals and slo-mo variants but overall not a bad show. Hardly a classic but I thought it was sort of cool.
What's great about it: Take it for what it's worth don't expect anything more
What's not so great: Megan Fox acting
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Action movie

Wolverine is a great action movie which fills in the blanks from the previous 3 X-Men movies. The story seemed to contradict some of the stuff in the other movies, but sorts itself out later in the movie. Appreciate the comments about effects, although the mirror scene is easily the worst, done let it put you off, it gets better, much better. The Blu-ray is fantastic, the colour and detail in pretty much every scene is outstanding. The effects suffer slightly, probably because of the quality of the Blu-ray. Worthy addition to the X-Men franchise and any Blu-ray collection.
What's great about it: Great movie
What's not so great: Film was a little to short for me
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Good horror film

Brilliant film scary and funny. The bluray transfer is top notch and the dts hd master audio will cause the neighbours to drag you straight to the council for noise affray, if you have a amp and surround speaker system. Play loud and enjoy the ride
What's great about it: 'tense and creepy'
What's not so great: Price

Some Great matches. Fatal Four Way! Batista, Undertaker (The Phenom!! Deadman!), Cm Punk and Rey Mysterio!
Also one of the greatest matches i've seen (apart from Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels WM25) and definately the best Iron man match I have seen between Randy Orton (The Viper and Legend Killer!)and John Cena for the Championship. Legendary match that kept you in the seat till the very end. A must see DVD.

Halloween 2 is okay

For me the best part of this film was the character of Annie and her father. Daniela Harris really made this film for me and a lot of Halloween fans I have had the chance to talk to. Her death scene really made this film a three out of five rating for me, if not for Brad and Daniela acting this film would have got a 1.5 out of 5 rating from me. I must give credit to Zombie for making the backlash for the characters and how they all got damaged so well and how well written it was. Other then those things this is just an above average film for me. Halloween 2007 was way better. On a side note the death scenes were very realistic which is rare in a horror film.
What's great about it: Good
What's not so great: No where as good as the last one
I would recommend this to a friend!

This film is not scary, but is well made on the budget they had and is better than Blair Witch. My girlfriend thought it was jumpy but I couldn't see that as many parts are predictable - including the end. The film is entertaining and is worth watching and this is why I give it 5 Stars for effect

What's not so great: Didn't think it was that scary
