Great memory card for my Dslr.

I purchase this card in the store after reading reviews online stating confusion on Bestbuy's part with the Extreme version vs. Ultra version of sdhc cards offered by Sandisk. The card has performed better then expected even when writing large files in Raw and JPEG to the card using my A55 camera taking an unnoticed amount of time leaving me to only worry about picture taking. The lifetime warranty is a major selling point for this card as well as the fact its waterproof. Very pleased with this memory card.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Another great HDMI from Audioquest

I purchased the AudioQuest Cinnamon 6-5/9' as an HdmI cable for my dish reciever wanting a good high quality cable at a better price then the Choclate HdmI cable of witch I own three for bluray players and video game units. The Chinnamon did not disapoint still super high build quality and a great video/audio reproduction. Audioquest uses silver as its conducter material being much better then gold in its conducter abilities. Just like all Audioquest cables a great buy for the Audiphile/Videophile out there.
What's great about it: Build quality great picture and sound reproduction.
What's not so great: Nothing.

I recently purchased a high quality hdtv and wanted there to be no weak links so I bit the bullet and went with the Audioquest HDMI cables and wow am I glad I did, super high quality build, great video image reproduction and a great solid connection with my a/v devices. I have no regrets on my purchase of these high quality Audioquest cables. I have three of the chocolate HDMI cables and cant say enough of how great Audioquest connection solutions are. All I can say is thank you Audioquest and also thank you to the Magnolia staff for all your input in my decision making.
What's great about it: Great build quality, strong and great performance.
What's not so great: A little pricey for most.

I really don't know why I waited so long to upgrade my speaker wires, after installing the Audioquest X-2 speaker cables I was rewarded with a clean distortion free and extreamly rich sound not yet experienced with my home theater system. The decision was easy enough to make when I realized that even though I had spent top dollar on speakers and a reciever but then inturn conected those devices with .02 cents a yard cables how could I posibley achieve any kind of true sound reproduction (the saying is very true the chain is only as strong as the weakest link). I was unsure if I would experience a difference in sound reproduction but was plesantly suprized, all my conections are currently being upgraded to Audioquest. All I can say is thank you Audioquest!
What's great about it: Very high quaility build very easy to install.
What's not so great: Nothing.

which cable is best?

which cable is best for cable hd programming, playing ps3 and xbox360 and blu-ray? i want to connect these devices to a sony bravia 46in. i have heard that monster cable is the best but i have read recent reviews of audioquest.. which version is best? 1.2 or 1.3?
You should only use 1.3, 1.2 sometimes is incompatible with tv's and bluray players its rare but happens sometimes. As for Monster and or Audioquest if you have the money Audioquest is a great cable I have three and they are well built and produce quality images as for monster they are well built cables and do produce great quality images for your set up I would go with the Monster spend the left over money on movies and games but if you have to have the best like I do go with Audioquest either way you will get a quality product. Hope this helps.

Cable for 1080 & 600Hz plasma

I just got a Samsung - 50" Class / 1080p / 600Hz / Plasma HDTV.
The cable provided at the store is a $50.99 Rocketfish™ HDMI; specs show it suports a 120Hz screen refresh rate.

How can I find a 600Hz HD cable? I suppose the TV is only as good as the slowest component.
Ignore the hz number when looking at cables it is a different number then what is displayed on the tv.

What type of HDMI cable should I when running it through an exterior wall?

I have a 40" LCD HDTV 1080p currently above the fireplace mantel. I have run a PVC pipe from the wall behind the TV, around the fireplace box to the niche in the hearth. I am wanting to put the satellite DVR , surround sound receiver, and DVD player in this niche. I intend on running the HDMI cable(s), and AV cables through this PVC pipe in order to "hide" them from view. This PVC pipe is run between the firebox and the exterior wall. I need to know what kind of HDMI cable to purchase so I will not get "noise" crossover from the other cables running through the pipe and a HDMI cable that can handle the temperature fluctuation in the Winter and Summer. (I live in the MidWest so it can get below 0 degrees and between 90 and 100 degrees.) Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
They do make in wall grade HDMI cables. Audioquest has a bunch of options for running in wall and bestbuy does stock one in wall grade HDMI cable. This would be your best bet.

How many HDMI cables would i need?

I have a 55' samsung led 1080p tv, a surround sound system( onkyo ht-s6200) , xbox 360, cable box with HD channels, and a blu ray player. I plan on running all with HDMI cables. How many would I need? Also which would be the best to buy? Monster cables I have always thought were the best. Kinda new to this... would i hook it all up to the reciever? Help.
The answer is four. One per device not including your tv. The only thing is I no longer have an Xbox 360 and cant remember off the top of my head if it has an HDMI output but if it does you will need four if it does not you will need three.

computer to TV

what kind of cable do i need to connect my sony laptop to my hdtv? will the cable carry sound and video?
It depends on your laptop. If you have an HDMI output you are good to go sound and video but this is not common on any computers or laptops yet. If its dvi you will have picture and no sound this is usually the case for laptops. Now you may have a headphone jack output and you can get a headphone jack to rca (white and red) cable adapter to solve the audio problem and a dvi cable for video. And this would get you going. Hope this helps.

Is the BD Player or the HDMI Cable?

I have a new Sony 52" 1080p TV, a PS3 and a Dynex HDMI A/V cable. However, when I watch blu-ray movies at home, the picture quality is not the same as the one I see being sampled at BBuy. Is it because of PS3 and/or the cable?
Its probably not the cable and chances are its not the PS3 either. I can answer this in a three part answer so bear with me here.
1. Is your PS3 connected to the internet and if the answer is yes is the latest firmware installed this can cause some weird and or poor image reproduction issues if you have not updated your PS3.
2. Your tv may need to be calibrated this is a very pricy thing to have done but the results are on average very good. Bestbuy has vendors from all the respective company's ie. a sony rep will go to bestbuy and calibrate the floor tv's to try and make it the best picture you see making you want to buy there tv.
3. There is always a chance that the HDMI cable you purchased was defective it happens and is rare but it does happen in witch case you would need to buy a new cable.
I hope this helps.
P.s. The PS3 has the best bluray player on the market today.

What cables do I need

Hooking up a X box 360 what cables do I need and where does the cable hook up to?
Best part about your question is you won't have to buy anything the 360 comes with the cables you need. The big funky looking end conects to the 360 the red white and yellow go to the matching colors on your tv.

My tv is pc ready and I can connect my computer to my tv but there is no sound, what can I use to hear sound from my tv once my computer is hooked up?

Well if you have an audio card with rca outs its easy those are the red and white cables that come with most tv's and dvd playes the red one and the white one are audio the yellow one is for video, anyway you would just need to connect from the computer to the tv with an rca cable easy. Now if you have a stock audio card the easiest way to get sound is just get some computer speakers and conect them like you normally would with the little head phone jack on your computer there are also a number of headphone jack to rca adapters availible but sometimes can be hard to find.

HDMI cable from Blue Ray to 26" Samsung

Manual says, "pictures may be abnormal when Blue Ray player supporting HDMI versions older than 1.3 are connected.", what does this mean? What type of HDMI cable and or Blue Ray player should I purchase?
All new bluray players have a 1.3 HDMI conection its just the newer version of HDMI. It really just boils down to what you are willing to spend you should expect to spend a little more then 150 for a good quailty palyer and as much as 300 or more for a great quality player either way you will get the 1.3 HDMI. As for HDMI cables just buy a quailty product and expect to spend around 40 dollars. As for me just buy a PS3 it is still the best bluray player on the market and you get all the other stuff with it also conecting it to the internet will keep you updated with all the new upgrades.
