Finally all 6 Star Trek TOS movies on blu ray and bundled together.
Great set both PQ and AQ are the best you can get from older remasters. Granted they did not use the directors cut but if you can over look that then this is a great buy.

What's great about it: All 6 Films Bundled Together
What's not so great: Does not have the directors cut

Disney finally brings us it's 31st Animated Film in glorious HD. PQ and AQ for both films are very good. Colors are vibrant and sound is done well. This isn't going to tax your home theater system but does offer nice sounds ranging from the fight scenes to the songs.
Instead of bundled alone Disney also gives us its direct to DVD squeal. While not a strong as the first film overall still enjoyable. Disney purist will whine that all the Disney doubles suck, I agree and disagree. Nice of them to do that and I would have liked to seen this as a single release. Bad because if Disney didn't double it I'm sure we wouldn't have seen this to begin with.
For those with children the film overall is good. There are some scenes that might be frighting, fighting scenes, but overall nothing that I wouldn't let my little one watch.
If you enjoy Disney then I highly recommend this classic to add to your collection.

As the above poster said the PQ is good and so is the AQ. Much better then the first release which was done by Starz/Anchor Bay. Don't expect to be blown out of the water but overall the PQ is very good. For a catalog title they master they used was very good. Some crush on the blacks but shots done in sunlight are very detailed.
If you are a Evil Dead fan then grab this while it is cheap. A worthy upgrade if you have the DVD or the first blu ray release.

What's great about it: Evil Dead II what's not to like?

BBC once again brings the magic of their great documentaries to blu ray. If you have seen Earth, Life, or Frozen Planet then you more or less will enjoy Blue Planet.
Broadcast in 2001 Blue Planet focuses mainly on the oceans of your orbiting space ball. From the deep ocean floor to the reefs and coast Blue Planet offers a wide range of destinations to explore.
As stated in the bottom right hand corner of the case. This is a up convert from the sd (standard definition) broadcast. Will not as good as the other BBC documentaries Blue Planet still offers overall good picture quality and decent sound.
For those that enjoy documentaries or David Attenborough then I highly suggest you give this a watch. Wait for the price to go down as $37.99 is a bit high. I would pick this up for around $20 as it isn't true HD and BB usually puts these on sale much later on.
Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) leads the crew of the starship Enterprise NX-01 as they patrol the universe and discover new alien cultures in this collection of 25 episodes from the first season of the sci-fi series Star Trek: Enterprise.

As we all know CBS has finally decided to grace if Trekkie fans with the first outing of the Star Trek Universe. For the first time blu ray fans can enjoy the great PQ and AQ of blu ray or can they?
Not on the same level as the remastered ST:TOS or ST:TNG that is currently out on blu ray CBS has done the best with what they have been given. Sadly for a show that came out much later in the franchise history it suffers for very poor picture quality. I assume that decent masters were not found for the remastering but that doesn't take away the fact the show is still enjoyable. If you an overall look the poor PQ and are a Trek fan then you might want to check this out.
Be advise that the Best Buy exclusive is not on the disc but a redeemable code via Cinema Now. And even then you might not even get the content that you are redeeming. I redeemed the code and got Parental Guidance and not the content I was supposed to get.
What's great about it: It's Star Trek enough said
What's not so great: Poor picture quality even though it is a blu ray
