SynopsisAs Optimus Prime scanned the radar, he noticed something unusual. A group of large flying objects were making their way toward the Autobots' headquarters at breakneck speed. With the push of a button, the Autobots were called to arms and moved into their battle positions. The war for Earth was about to start. Given the choice, which side would you fight for?Transformers: The Game puts this decision in your hands by allowing you to protect or destroy the Earth as either the Autobots or the Decepticons. Choose from an army of characters from the Transformers universe and use their strengths and abilities to your advantage. Battle in a completely interactive environment, use any object you see as a weapon and destroy everything else in sight. Take on your enemies in head-to-head combat, using your character's unique fighting techniques and special moves. Or, engage in long distance battles where your ability to transform will prove essential. The battle for Earth has begun: is it in your heart to save it or are you set on utter destruction?

another bad movie tie-in game
on May 2, 2008

First off, I love the Transformers. I grew up watching the cartoon, loved the new movie and had high hopes for this game. Like most movie games it was a big letdown. Activision really dropped the ball on this one, the controls stink, missions mainly consist of drive here, fight that before time expires. The game plays in 1080p but it is just a upconvert signal not true 1080p, cutseens are blurry. Last for a game made for young children it is pretty hard and frustrating. I wish this game would have been better but this is the norm for movie games.
What's great about it: can play as most of the transformers from the movie
What's not so great: rushed out game with lots of problems
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great blu-ray movie & value
on April 27, 2008

Blade Runner looks great in blu-ray,especially for a film that is over 25 years old. The picture and sound are amazing in hd 1080p.The movie itself is awesome and 4 versions are incuded in the set. The only negative about the collector's edition is 2 of the 5 discs are only regular dvds. This is a must for any blu-ray collection.
What's great about it: 4 versions of the film
What's not so great: 2 of 5 discs are dvd not blu-ray

A very fun movie to watch
on October 17, 2007

This is such a great movie. Once the movie starts it does not let up at all to the end. Everything is done in a very cool way and the action and gore are over the top. The film starts with a fake movie trailer that looks so good you wish they would actually make that movie. If you like movies that are fun and not very serious you should check this movie out, it is well worth a purchase.
What's great about it: Great action, horror, and gore

As good as the first
on October 14, 2007

I was not expecting much out of this movie when it was announced that it was going straight to dvd. I liked the first and after watching the second I was very suprised. First off this movie is what it is, a low budget horror flick. The acting is not very good and there is plenty of gore, but this is a pretty good movie if you like the genre. The special effects are very good and there is plenty of blood, the story is good also. If you liked the first or are looking for a good scary movie this film is worth a look.
What's great about it: More gore, girls, and crazy rednecks
What's not so great: Average acting
I would recommend this to a friend!

Grindhouse movies rule
on October 12, 2007
Posted by: armyof1
This is one half of the Grindhouse film that was released in theatres. This one was directed by Quentin Tarantino and like most of his movies has a great script and alot of over the top scenes. The movie is a little slow at the start but it builds up the suspense and it does a great job leading up to what happens next. The car chase at the end is one of the coolest stunts I have ever seen in a movie. This is a great homage to grindhouse films and another Tarantino classic, well worth a purchase.
What's great about it: Great story and suspense
What's not so great: A little slow at the start

PS3's best game yet
on October 11, 2007
Posted by: armyof1
First off this is the best looking game available currently on the PS3. The graphics are amazing with plenty of detail and beautiful color. The game plays alot like God of War for the PS2. There is lots of action and variety and the controls are easy to get use to. Heavenly Sword is rated T and the violence and language are pretty tame. My only negative for the game is that is a little short. This is the PS3's best game yet, you will not be letdown.
What's great about it: Amazing graphics and lots of action
What's not so great: A little bit short

A awful movie
on October 8, 2007

This is Ashley Judd's first movie in 2 years so I had high hopes for this movie. What a letdown. The movie is boring and confusing , and just never makes any sense whatsoever. Ashley Judd does do a very good acting job in the film but the script and story are just bad. This movie was based on a play and this may have been a decent play but it makes for a really bad movie. Skip this movie for a rental or a purchase.
What's great about it: Ashley Judd is in it
What's not so great: Confusing and boring story

A+ picture and sound
on October 7, 2007
Posted by: armyof1
I am a huge fan of the original Halloween and have purchased many different copies of this film over the years. The blu-ray edition is by far the best I have seen yet. The picture and sound quality are amazing for a film that was made almost 30 years ago. The color and resolution of the film make it look like it was filmed only recently. The only negative about the disc is that there are no new extra features that have not been released before on previous dvd editions. This is the best horror film ever and this is the best release yet.
What's great about it: Awesome picture and sound
What's not so great: No new extra features
I would recommend this to a friend!
