Battlefield. A staple PC team based FPS franchise which has always been successful but has been overshadowed by the popular Call of Duty series. While I LOVED Call of Duty and the sequel on PC, it's really not as much fun now as it used to be.
This is the title to put Battlefield over the edge of MW3 this year. 1st off, it's MADE FOR PC. The PC is the most powerful gaming system out there. No other console has the horsepower a PC can has. Visually a PC will outperform a console. Better controller(s), plural in BF because I bust out my joystick when I am flying in air. Keyboard and Mouse in ground vehicles and on foot.
Visually, this is the best game I've ever seen. I love realism mods in PC FPS's, and this SCREAMS realism. This is a game that a lot of my RL friends will play, and we can get in vent and coordinate our offense/defense.
Call of Duty does not offer the true Battlefield experience. In BF it's truly a team based game. Not 1 guy camping and going 25-2 in a TDM match up.
My ONLY beef with BF3 is not BF3's fault, it's EA. No Steam support. That is a downer for me, and a lot of other PC gamers.
This has game of the year written all over it. Granted there is some stiff competition later this year though. When it comes to FPS in 2011, BF3 will be the title.
Go PC Gaming!
What's great about it: Made for the PC, the best gaming machine available
What's not so great: No Steam support

Surprisingly Great!

I was a little skeptical when seeing the previews for this movie, because my opinion of the previous X-Men movies were enjoyable, to rather dull...they should have called them the Wolverine Show.
Anyways, James McAvoy straight up stole the show. He sheds a new light on Xavier. Wonderful casting for him. Michael Fassbender as Erik was also pretty well done. Fassbender was pretty decent in 300, for his smaller part (Kind of comic relief) and I really enjoyed his Character of Lt. Archie Hicox in Inglorious B@sterds.
Kevin Bacon really threw me off though, I did NOT expect him at all. He was decent. His side kick Emma Frost was utterly terrible though...VERY bland and boring.
Lot of good special effects, not great but the story really made this an enjoyable movie. At least they didn't overdo the effects like most movies do these days.
The best X-Men movie to date, can't wait to see some more movies like this!
What's great about it: Good story, good acting in lead roles
What's not so great: Support cast was sub par, but didn't ruin the movie.

Very Nice Headset!

I was very excited to receive this headset. It replaced an old $50 Plantronics pair I purchased at best Buy last year. The old headset literally snapped apart in the middle. (I like to wear them on my neck sometimes)
These are a LOT more comfortable, and not as hot after long hours. The Mic is very flexible, and my friends say they can hear me a LOT clearer than my last set.
I like the fact they're not USB, so I can use a really nice sound card to match up with them. My ONLY comlaint is that when I go to put them on, they move around a lot. The ear cups flip around and are kind of annoying, but it's not really THAT big of a deal to me.
I am very pleased, and this is by far the best Gaming headset I've ever owned. I just hope it lasts.
What's great about it: Comfort, flexible and clear mic
What's not so great: Ear cups flip around too much, making them harder to actually put on

Very good machine for entry level HE Top loader

I purchased this set and have been very impressed. From previous reviews I've heard people say the HE Top Loaders don't clean your clothes well, but I can definitely debunk that myth.
I really like the bang for your buck on this pair. It's doesn't take too long to do a load of laundry, and you can do MUCH bigger loads. The spin out is better than an average top loader as well.
Whirlpool has done a really good job on this washer, very good performance for a good low price.
What's great about it: Big capacity, cheap to run, good price point for HE Top load
What's not so great: Nothing so far...

Great Vac!

I really like the canister style vacs, and I love Dyson products. The DC23 Turbinehead is a very nice vac with great suction and easy mobility.
The mobility of the turbine head reminds me a lot of the Dyson Ball models, very easy to turn. Just by the twist of your wrist you can change direction. It also fits perfectly along stairs and has a long reach.
Turning off the beater bar is not in a great spot, but it is easy to do.
I also own a DC25 Blueprint, and love it as well. Though they Ball is not so great on stairs. Good price on sale as well!
What's great about it: Excellent suction, easy movement and great for stairs!
What's not so great: Pricey, but you get what you pay for

I was very excited for this album when the single Heartkiller was released. Good rifts, great sound and overall excellent lyrics. The video was pretty lame, but all in all very good song.
I saw them live last April in Cincinnati, OH and it was the best live show I've EVER experienced. I've seen a LOTof shows: Metallica, Rush, Tom Petty, Dave Matthews, etc (A lot of very talented bands) It was such a personal show, not a huge venue but it was packed to the brim.
I thought this CD was mediocre when I first listened to it, but it's REALLY grown on me. Granted, it's not a Love Metal or Razorblade Romance; it is definitely a top notch album.
Most diehard HIM fans will really appreciate this album, the extra disc is awesome as well! I love collecting all the extra content and posters. Having the extra disc is nice.
HIM has been my favorite band since high school, I've seen them twice and I will continue to follow them. Their music is truly art at it's best.
What's great about it: Vocal lyrics are very well done, as usual. Lily Lazer proves that he is one hell of a guitarist.
What's not so great: Nothing that I can find...

They still have it!

I've been a fan of HIM for about 7 years now, and they have never dissapointed me.
This is a pretty mellow album, the lyrics are great and the sound is very unique. Not quite as hard as Venus Doom, but still sounds excellent.
HIM fans will definitely like Screamworks. It's no Razorblade Romance, but it's still very good and I am very excited about the US tour this spring!
What's great about it: Not a single bad song on the album.
What's not so great: Nothing...

Perplexed!
By QueenIsis from St. Louis
I have had this machine for about 3 days and I have to honestly say that I am perplexed at the amount of good reviews for this machine. Here is my list of complaints - and this machine is going back to Best Buy tomorrow - I didn't spend this much money to be driven crazy.
1.) The water valve on the machine cuts off so hard that it has my entire plumbing system in my house rattling (loud!) each time the machine turns off/on the water.
2.) The machine cannot figure out how to balance a load - you think the machine is finished and you go to get the clothes out and they are soaking wet. I had to "spin" a load dry 3 times - even after I went in and adjusted the load by hand to try to get it balanced. And the worst part is that you're not even sure where the load stopped. Did the clothes even finish the wash cycle? No way to tell.
3.) It takes 2.25 hours to do a load on the normal cycle. It says it will do it in 1.5 hours (way to long - my last machine washed a normal load in about 30 mins) but the time constantly adjusts itself. The only thing I can figure out is that it is constantly trying to rebalance the load.
4.) The machine is so busy slowly turning (to balance the load?? who knows!) that it wastes so much time doing nothing. I sat and pretty much watched an entire load being cleaned. It was amazing to watch the machine play with itself - turning back and forth - essentially doing nothing.
How is this machine so efficient when a person has to spin the water out of the clothes so many times before they are dry enough to put in the dryer? I'm going back to a washing machine with a good old fashioned agitator in it. It's worked for the last 40 years... why mess with perfection?

Sounds like a lemon...
May 23, 2011
I would just exchange it for a new one, because it looks like you got a lemon out of the box. It happens with every brand, sometimes something isn't set right or gets moved too much in a warehouse.
Seeing how most people have great experiences, and you (and 3 others) have had a bad one with this Washing machine

With 160GB of storage, iPod classic can hold up to 40,000 songs, 200 hours of video, or 25,000 photos. That's more than enough room for a day's — or a lifetime's — worth of entertainment.

good product, but not intuitive
By drweng from Lynchburg, VA
My wife loves her iPod because it's cool, fun, & portable. I think it's a solid product, but I don't trust Apple products for durability and the life of the product. The interface is "clunky" and not intuitive at all, but once you know how to operate it, you'll think I'm bring too critical of the OS.
Bottom line: It's an iPod, it holds A LOT of music (probably more than you'll ever fill up), and their are a plethora of accessories for it due to its popularity.

For Durability, Apple products are great. I am by no means a huge Apple guy, but their products last a LONG time. Their PC's and Laptops average about a 7 year life compared to a PC at 3.
I purchased this model to replace my 5th Gen Video iPod I had for 5 years. I bet I dropped that thing 10+ times...and it still works just fine other than the fact the battery is shot. I just leave it in my glove box attached to my car stereo.
Longevity is why a lot of people buy Apple products.
