Silent Alarm is so weak it does not wake me.

I have used the Fitbit Charge HR for 18 months and it has always awakened me from a sound sleep where the new "Charge 2" does not. because it so weak. I contacted Fitbit and they know about this condition and said " there will be no changes coming for this model" so I will most likely return mine *(or)* wear my model "HR" when sleeping.
Other then that the "Charge 2" has a big bright display with larger numbers and more clock face options. It was almost impossible to read the "HR" time outdoors on a sunny day and the "Charge 2" is a lot better in those conditions.
If you don't need the silent alarm then I would recommend the "Charge 2" to others,,,,,

I went to Best Buy and returned it wondering if this just a single failure or a design problem or a bad batch and the return person called and checked with someone else and informed me that they had not had any reports from other customers so I asked for a replacement and the new one works just as my HR to I need to change this from 1 star to 5 stars with a "+" after the 5. out doors on a bright sunny day I can read it and if the sun is shining directly on the "Charge 2" I can shield it with my body (my back to the sun) and can easily read it... Something I could not do with my "Charge HR".
Some of the clock optionss have very large font size and I can easily read them without my reading glasses. Not as pretty but far easier to read then the "Samsung Gear Fit 2" especially in sun light,,,,,.

How many alarms does this watch have? The version I have has 8 alarms, and I would like 12.
Don't know the number of alarms BUT: It's Silent Alarm is a lot weaker then previous models so I'm probably going to return my "Charge 2" and keep using my "HR".

I though my Original Fitbit HR was water resistant also, it never said take it off when you wash your hands, Is their any other advantages , why it would be $20 more than the Fitbit HR

What benefits does this one offer that the other HR doesn't have

Can the time display be seen in bright sunlight?
I have the "HR" model and the "Charge 2" and the Charge 2 is much better in bright sunlight with a bigger screen and bolder font but all devices using that type of display technology are still not great in bright sun but are getting better with each new generation..
