Wolf gives roots, blues and country his own twist

Not as good as "Sleepless" Wolf's last solo album, but that was a true masterpiece. This album moves away from the Rock, Blues feel of the last album to a more old style country album. Wolf seems more subduded and mellow on this project. I still think it is one of his best solo albums, but I wish he had added power anthem. The duets with Merl and Shelby as well as the remake of an older Wolf solo song "Thick as Thieves" are classics.
What's great about it: Sounds like a group of friends jamming into the wee hours of the night!
What's not so great: A little mellow, want a power jam.
I would recommend this to a friend!
