The quality of season two continues from the magical first season. The acting is still impeccable and stories even more unique. The only episode that feels weak is the last (but only in the last 5 minutes, mind you). Why? Because it seems obvious that the show was canceled last minute and they tried to tie up all the loose ends in the last 5 minutes of the show. My preference would have been to leave the loose ends untied and allow the audience to dream up their own endings. Still it's hard to complain about a show this flawless.
Once again, the second season has some of the most beautiful visuals and sets on TV. Blu Ray is a definite must for this collection. The extras are a little better this time around and menus are easier to navigate. But in this day and age, people expect so much more on their DVDs / Blu Rays. This one falls short - not enough people! I asked this before for season one's discs - where are the commentaries?
I still recommend buying both seasons just for the show alone.
What's great about it: Absolutely a great show.
What's not so great: Extras better than the 1st season but still lacking.
This has to be one of the best examples of what TV should (and essentially) could be if you put it in the hands of real talent. Everyone behind and front of the scenes is working grade A performances. Lee Pace and gang have never fit so perfectly in an ensemble using each of their unique talents to deliver some of the best dialog and storytelling.
The visuals are an obvious standout but leave it to Creator Bryan Fuller to not focus entirely on special effects and set design. Instead, he shows the value of great characters and character development through intriguing stories. And that, my fellow Daisy fans, is why this series works so well.
The biggest frustration, of course, is the cancellation. Why would a show this flawless get canceled? What does ABC have to replace it with anyway? It's just a shame.
I highly recommend you buy the series (BluRay is a must for those with HDTVs) and enjoy what you may never see again on TV. Come for the pie - stay for the characters!
What's great about it: Flawless acting, unique stories, and visual eye candy.
What's not so great: Few extras (which are tricky to access). Worst of all, where's the behind the scenes, commentaries, etc.?

It warms up the bedroom quickly. I have a more expensive model from this company, which is a bit quieter.
