UNCLE BUCK - nice "slice of the 80's" with the clothes and hairdos that just make you hope neither comes back in style. Good family movie with a fairly predictable plot and goody two-shoes ending - HOWEVER, our family enjoyed it and that's important. Great laughs, good acting - just a feel good movie that will stand the test of time.
FLETCH - haven't re-watched that one yet (and its been at least 10 years since I've seen it, so not really fair for me to write a review). I will say that I've never met a Chevy Chase movie that I didn't love! He's a comedic genius!

Slow start, strong finish

Ishtar is a "classic" 80's movie - an era not known for great cinema. Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty are good together. You have to approach this movie with the right mindset that it is slow but will give you some great laughs here and there and the plot significantly improves in the latter half of the movie. Some people are going to click with this movie and end up repeating one-liners; others will find it sophomoric and wonder what others see in it. I liked it and so did my 19, 21 and 24 year old - which actually says a lot. I don't think any of us have this great desire to watch it again soon - but I think it will creep into the play list every 5-9 years or so.

Delightful family film

This movie was a pleasant surprise. I did not read the plot summary (nor read the book) so I knew nothing going into the viewing. The story is fairly predictable, but still told in a way that maintains your attention without boring you. Might be a little too long for little kids. I always enjoy a film that the whole family can watch together without fear of inappropriate nudity or language. The acting was well done and the cinematography helped me sink into the experience (well done period piece). Would like to see it again in 3D since I've read its done well.

I never thought I could love a vacuum - and I still shake my head that I feel that way about it. I've avoided Dyson for years because of the price but after replacing a $100 range vacuum every 2 years (that apparently never really cleaned my carpets), and getting recommendations from my friends that own pets, I bought one. I had just had my carpets professionally deep cleaned one month before buying this. The first time we used it, we had to empty the bagless cup 27 times (approx 2000sf of carpet). Now weekly, we only empty it 7-9 times with each use. I do wish the bagless cup had more capacity, but it is so easy to empty, it isn't a big deal. I like that it is lightweight too.

Decent - Not sure why it go so many accolades

This movie had a lot of hype and maybe that's why I didn't enjoy it so much (the hype was too much to live up to). The story moved very slowly and since it was somewhat predictable, it didn't keep my total attention. It was a someone depressing movie (in my opinion) and I personally prefer something lighter. Bradley Cooper was great, stepping outside his normal stereotype role. He had good on-screen chemistry with his co-star.

Sandisk has a great reputation and this product is no exception. We just went on a 2 week vacation and we took a ton of pictures. In the past, with smaller capacity disks we had to change them out and worry about losing them. Not this year. It handled about 10 of our 14 days worth of pictures and videos. Great, great, great!
What's great about it: High capacity so I don't have to carry around and juggle lots of smaller ones.

why is the cannister so small
I have no idea why Dyson chose to make it so small. Its only a slight inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. The vacuum is pulling up so much fur and dirt that its just the price you pay. Maybe if I vacuumed more than once a week, I wouldn't have this issue, but I would still say the "dirt cup" is about 1/2 to 2/3 the size of other "dirt cup" vacuums.
