Do Not buy!

I was so excited to see this movie and purchased 5 tickets for me and my family/friends. I watched this movie in theaters and we all walked out within the first 15 to 25mins. Well, all that money went down the drain. It was the worst acting and 3D experience I ever watched. As for the story overall? I'm not sure. Like I said, I didn't finish watching the movie.
I do not recommend making this purchase at all.
What's not so great: Acting and 3D
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Family Movie

I previous purchased this movie before I purchased a 3D TV. So, when I did get my 3D TV in I just gave my old disc to a friend and purchased the 3D copy today.
I read a lot of reviews and a lot of people said this was one of the best 3D movies. I just wish I would had read the review below me first. lol Anyway, yes the movie is 2D converted to 3D. Makes me wish I would had just kept my old copy of Alice and use the 2D to 3D converter on my TV and it would have came out about the same to save some money.
I rate the 3D experience a 2 out of 5. The overall movie is great. If you are planning on purchasing this movie not because you want something to watch in 3D then I would go ahead and purchase the 3D copy because it comes with 4Disc and it cost about the same as the regular Blu-ray.
What's great about it: The story and great picture quaility
What's not so great: 3D is 2D converted to 3D. Not so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Family 3D Movie

The movie story is good but not the best. Some sense I was kinda bored but then other sense came out so great. I'm a big Disney, Dreamworks, Pixar all around fan. So, no I'm not dissing the movie b/c is family or something. The colors and pictures were awesome, bright and pretty.
3D? Was pretty decent. If you seen Toy Story 3 in 3D then that is about how this movies is in. I give the 3D a 4 out of 5.
I do recommend making the purchase and adding it to your 3D collection.
What's great about it: Nice color, picture and 3D
What's not so great: Beginning of the movie was a little lacking, made me boried
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Family Movie but Bad in 3D

I have study a lot of information on 3D. Monster House is a good movie to just watch in 2D but not worth the 3D experience. You want to get movies that are shot/ made for 3D. This movie is just Digital 3D with a layover. Meaning that scenes will not pop out as much as a real 3D movie. Most of this movie did not have any objects looking as if they were coming out the screen. You can just about watch the whole movie with the glasses off. If you can watch a movie with the glasses off and do not see the blur effect then that means bad 3D. I give the 3D for this movie two stars because I have seen worst. Again good family movie but not good in 3D.
What's great about it: Good for familys to watch in 2D
What's not so great: Not good to view in 3D
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just google search a 3D movie list.
