One of the best blu ray players I've owned.

I decided to buy this blu ray player to replace another brand I brought back. I am glad I decided on buy this model.
It has a sharp crisp highly detailed picture. The contrast, colors, and all the detail are second to none.
I don't use it for streaming so I can't say one way or the other about it. It is easy though to hookup to the internet and update the firmware without any hassle.
All in all a great blu ray player. Great BD playback and DVD playback is very good.
What's great about it: Great picture quality. Easy to use menus.
What's not so great: None so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love Rocketfish HDMI Cables!!

Love the color accuracy, great contrast, and the overall quality is second to none. I've tried and used more expensive HDMI cables and I am impressed with this HDMI cable and the other two Rocketfish HDMI cables I own. I use this one mainly to hook up my blu ray player to my HDTV.
And with the cable being on sale right now, you can't beat the deal. The overall quality is superb and on par with cables that cost more.
What's great about it: Rocketfish makes high quality products!

I've used more expensive HDMI cables and lower priced cables. And I am happy to say that Rocketfish makes some well made cables and they do stand behind their warranty for them. I had to return one for a replacement and the exchange was fast and friendly.
I would easily recommend these cables to anyone that wants some well made cables that deliver great picture quality and you don't have to spend a lot to get cable that delivers what it promises.
What's great about it: Rugged, great picture, great sound!!
What's not so great: None so far!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even better cables than the Forest!!

Originally got the Forest 2m HDMI cables to use with my blu ray player. They are amazing cables!! Don't get me wrong at all. But, I recently got a brand new LED 120hz HDTV and decided to use the Forest HDMI cable for my HD DVR Cable Box. Looks great with it!!
So, after researching and reading online reviews. I settled on buying a new pair of Cinnamon HDMI cables. What a huge difference. Like one of the other reviewers said,"Like Night and Day!" It is...Don't let others lead you to believe that cables are cables. With all the new advancements in HDTV's you truly need a faster cable to handle the 120hz on up to 600hz HDTV's. And this is a newer 1.4 cable!!
I am amazed at the color rendition across the whole spectrum. The contrast is amazing, the shadows are realistic, the blacks are nice and dark where they are suppose to be now. And the brights are natural and not overdriven.
I would easily tell my friends and family if they are planning on buying a new 120hz, 240hz, or even a 480hz LCD or LED-LCD or plasma to invest in these great cables!!
What's great about it: Color is highly accurate, blacks are dark where they are suppose to be. And the contrast and detail are amazing.
What's not so great: Not a thing, except most would say they are a bit spendy. But, you get what you pay for!! Don't buy a cheap HDMI!!
I would recommend this to a friend!
