John Ford's award winning romantic comedy/adventure film The Quiet Man comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Mono and is THX certified. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by actress Maureen O'Hara, a making-of documentary hosted by Leonard Maltin, a documentary about Ireland hosted by O'Hara, and the original theatrical trailer. This is an excellent package from Artisan.

Loved this movie since I was a child. Loved the storyline, John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara what great chemistry...
Video was easily purchased online and delivered in very quick time.
What's great about it: It's a timeless classic story, wonderful to enjoy at home
Nigel Cole's comedy Saving Grace comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1 and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame transfer. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include commentaries recorded by lead actors Brenda Blethyn and Craig Ferguson, filmographies, and the original theatrical trailer. Those with a DVD-ROM drive can visit the film's website. This is an excellent release from New Line that should help to win the film a wider audience.

Great movie with a fun story, acting good and filmed with high American Standards/Quality.
Enjoyed the movie and not having to go to the store to get it was a nice treat.
As I mentioned I thought the price was too high, it's not Blue Ray.
What's great about it: The story was good, quick delivery.
