He was busy with a television show, but now has a new special out, and I've been waiting awhile for it. After seeing him live in Charlotte, NC back in July 2008, I knew I'd want to see him live again. I hope he tours again and comes to my town because this would definitely be a performance not to miss. His mannerisms, emotional reactions, and just common sayings that you can even find on a soundboard online now, are worth seeing in person and they never get old to hear from him. This special definitely is his best and I don't know how he can top it.
What's great about it: LB doesn't disappoint, but is more entertaining. I've been waiting for a new special to come out for some time now!
What's not so great: it's not long enough! i always want more of LB
This documentary was really inticing and, it reeled me into how the artists got to where they are, how they began, who their influences were, when I was unfamiliar with anyone they were talking about. Some clips shown were vaguely familiar to me, but it really makes me want to youtube or look up other performances by names mentioned.
Dane Cook happens to be one of my favorite comedians. He never lets me down, and makes me laugh over and over again, even if I've heard the same joke a thousand times on his tv specials, cds, or dvds. I own this DVD and, absolutely find it hilarious. It made a great gift for me! Everyone I've shown it to quotes it over and over, and they can't do it as good as DANE himself, but just remembering Dane doing the joke brings back the laughter. Dane impresses me every time I see him perform, even in those that have transitioned to film. I was unsure he could do it as an actor, but he's done far better than I ever expected. Check out My Best Friend's girl with Kate Hudson. That's my favorite of his movies. He is also in Employee of the Month with Jessica Simpson, and Good Luck Chuck with Jessica Alba as well. Be sure to share his dvds/movies with your friends
What's great about it: hilarious, never want to stop watching
