i love Sweet. but the live recording is not the best quality. they are an awesome band from the 70's and definitely shouldnt be lumped into the glam/pop genre. they were more into playing heavier rock tunes than pop tunes. but they had a talent for pulling off anything they played. this is a band who lost 2 members, brian connolly (lead vocalist) and mick tucker (drummer). their talent is sorely missed, but not forgotten.
What's great about it: the album covers most of their music
What's not so great: the live portion is not the greatest quality recording
these songs were written by the band members. they wanted to record their own music which is more rock than pop. they did an outstanding job. they are 4 guys who had great talent. unfortunately they did better overseas than in the U.S. but regardless this album is well worth the purchase.
What's great about it: outstanding music written by the band members
purchased 4 cd's from best buy for SWEET. only rec'd 3, still waiting for the backorder since December. anyway, this is a highly underrated band from the 70's. they are not all about glam/pop. they started off w/some pop tunes, but can really kick it when it comes to rock music. definitely worth the money. and worth your time to listen.
What's great about it: great music / really kicks it
always loved the song Reflections of My Life, sung by Dean ford and Marmalade. this album has all their music and it's perfect for anyone who loves this band. definitely worth the money.
What's great about it: all their music, with dean ford vocals.
