After turning on the machine and pre-heating the water, I had an espresso in my cup within 30 seconds. Now, if you don’t know about espressos, it’s all about what you expect out of your drink. The basic espresso is a 1-oz shot or double shot (doppio), which Cuisinart Espresso Machine will do for you quickly. You can smell the aroma of your beverage as it is being prepared. The pods ejected into the waste receptacle with ease and no mess. Over the course of several days, I would make at least an espresso a day trying two different flavors, and the flavors were always consistent. The way I prepare mine is called a caffe latte, which is a shot of espresso with steamed milk and foam. Keep in mind that this isn’t your traditional full-size cup of coffee machine, it specializes in espressos.

I planned on listening to a couple of songs the first night I received it and I ended up spending about 2 hours just running through different songs such as English Rock, Spanish Rock, Salsas, Bachatas, Pop, and even some acoustic music. They all sounded great, regardless of genre, with no loss of fidelity in speaker vs. lows and highs each variety of music offered. I also enjoyed it later while listening to some podcasts and cooking. I can see this bringing life to an otherwise dull barbecue party.

It is not needed to use your speaker with bluetooth and even though I fully expected to dismiss it, I found some reasons to keep using the app. For instance, my friends and I love playing board games from time to time. Within the app, you can play games that are associated with colors and the colors are represented visually in the speaker. The included games are truth or dare, spin the bottle, and a trivia game. The trivia game does provide you with a question that the selected player has to answer and gives you 5 seconds. The spin the bottle and the truth or dare game don’t include any options, so the game master has to come up with questions for the group. However, I can see myself using this as a random selector feature for other board games or games that my group comes up with on the fly. It is only accessible while connected to the speaker, so it is a nice addition that I think few speaker companies would come up with. Other features of the app include DJ Lights, which allow you to control the lights of the speaker by tapping your fingers on the app. It is a nice novelty, but it quickly overstays its welcome and you probably won’t be using it much. A Travel Studio for the Less Tech Savvy

The setup of Roland Live Streaming Studio initially takes about 30 minutes while you study what goes connected where. After your first setup, you will be able to connect everything in about 10 minutes or less. In order for this to work, you need to download the streaming app called GO:LIVECAST. You will also need to provide your own USB charger or you can use this with a traveling battery USB charger. None of my USB mics worked, so I used the embedded mic. I connected a micless pair of headphones (to test the internal mic), and I tested this product using an iPhone 12 Max Pro with iOS 14.2.1.

The performance of the studio was great. There are preset buttons that you can modify with the included video loops, music, sound effects and text. The text is editable so you can display what you want your viewers to read. From within the app itself, you can turn on both your outward facing camera and your selfie camera. This is great when you want to have a picture in picture mode that shows you and whatever it is you want your audience to see. You can also connect a second satellite camera, which requires that all devices being used be on the same Wi-Fi network. This will allow you to have a separate camera away from your mobile device to be able to aim it in a different direction other than straight ahead of where you are sitting. Using the satellite connection, you can also stream a satellite secondary mobile device, which you can use to stream a video game or whatever you are doing on that device.

The mic monitoring works marvelously and so does the mute button. For picture in picture, it was great to show my audience what I wanted them to see (in this case, the Live Streaming Studio), while I talked about it. Changing from transition to transition or adding text on the screen was simple, but you are limited to the six buttons. You can always remove things you may not use, like the sound effects or music and add another video loop, transition, or text overlay, but since the buttons are pre-labeled with no way to modify them, you need to remember which button it is you relabeled.
I was able to successfully stream to Facebook and Twitch from my phone, but I could not get YouTube to work even though through the app, I was able to log into YouTube.

The product has many wonderful features. However, if I am to be honest, some improvements could be made in how you plug things into the studio. To be fair, this is meant to allow you to record away from home, but for a good quality stream, you need to buy devices that include a WiFi option to connect to and have access to WiFi wherever it is that you want to record. You are able to plug in headphones that include a microphone, so that’s one option that can work if you don’t want to use the embedded microphone on the studio itself. Additionally, you can plug in instruments or microphones that require a male to female or TS male to XLR male cables. You can also connect an alternative direct audio source, like a separate MP3/4 player with an auxiliary cable.
I love the fact that I can make my own intro/exit video loops on my computer and add them to the app via my phone’s library. What I can’t do is add extra sound effects. I am limited to those in the app. There is a workaround, which is to create a sound effect and add it to your music library, but it seems like the process could have been simplified.

There is definitely a value for some people in this device, I may just not be one of them, as most streams that I do are so much easier to set up with my USB mics/cameras, OBS, and a relatively cheap laptop.

Charging of the camera is recommended, but you can only charge one camera at a time with the included cable. The batteries do come with about 70% charge, so you can begin setting one up while you fully charge the other. The free app allows you to test the signal strength of where you are installing the camera. This is helpful to determine if your setup will be a good location or need a relocation.

Through the easy to use app, I set up custom activity zones that prevent the camera from sending a ping to my phone for unwanted motion. The 180 degree viewing angle is impressive. I could be almost at the side of the camera and it still picked up what I was doing. Downloading video footage to my phone is simple and you can open the app to take screenshots or manually record footage while away from home.

The performance of these headphones are up there with the best of the best. If you’ve never experienced ANC headphones, you are in for a treat. What active noise canceling headphones do is drown out the noise around you so that you can focus on what you’re listening or watching. ANC works even if you just have the headphones on without playing any content. I was wearing them on my way to the gym and forgot to turn them off. My vehicle transferred the bluetooth audio of my podcast to my car stereo and I could tell the ANC was working because my car stereo sounded like the noise was far away and muffled. As soon as I turned the ANC off, I could hear my stereo normal again. You want this feature to work this well in the gym, where lot’s of grunts, chatter, and pounding of weights is happening at once interrupting your workout. You want to avoid using ANC when walking in places that require you to pay attention to your surroundings, such as by the sidewalk near vehicles or trails with cyclists.
The performance of these headphones are up there with the best of the best. If you’ve never experienced ANC headphones, you are in for a treat. What active noise canceling headphones do is drown out the noise around you so that you can focus on what you’re listening or watching. ANC works even if you just have the headphones on without playing any content. I was wearing them on my way to the gym and forgot to turn them off. My vehicle transferred the bluetooth audio of my podcast to my car stereo and I could tell the ANC was working because my car stereo sounded like the noise was far away and muffled. As soon as I turned the ANC off, I could hear my stereo normal again. You want this feature to work this well in the gym, where lot’s of grunts, chatter, and pounding of weights is happening at once interrupting your workout. The sound of the headphones had some very nice lows for bass and nice highs for the trebles. I listened to podcasts, audio books, and music, all of which sounded pleasant and in full force as I expected it to sound. The noise cancelation feature allowed me to focus even more on my content with minimal distractions. I was able to forget that I was working out while watching a movie on Netflix because of how focused I was.

AU Flex Noise Canceling Earphones exceeds my expectations. These are now part of my workout routine and have a nice battery life of 15 hours, which is more than enough for a week’s worth of use before having to recharge.

The one for carpet works just ok, but I didn’t feel like it had a strong enough suction to pick up everything even on the high setting.. The receptacle that houses the dirt is decent-sized, and using it for everyday cleaning, I didn’t have to worry about dumping the contents until about a week and a half in.

As far as songs go, bass boost is the way to go, and the songs sound fuller and more enjoyable. For audiobooks and podcasts, I like a balanced approach. I wouldn’t buy these to play phone games, as there is a delay in the audio with what’s happening on screen. For computer games, I enjoyed the games best on the JLAB signature mode and got really immersed in the games for hours.

The performance for the stereo headsets was ok compared to others that I’ve used. I tested this headset with DOOM Eternal on Xbox One X and Hades on PC. For games like Hades, I had a great time listening to the voices of the characters with crisp, clear sounds. Destiny is the only console game that has held its replay-ability over the last two year AND STILL going strong. Destiny is the flagship games for consoles. It is by far, a MUST HAVE for ANY console player. I'm fixing to buy this as a gift and a few more for starting friends. The game is honestly the best game to come home to every night.
There is so much to do in Destiny, it'll seem overwhelming at first. The economy is booming, so many quests, loot, strikes, raids, bosses, prisons, etc. Bungie is an amazing developing company that is community focused and dedicated to amaze the players. The YouTube and Twitch community is outstanding and never ceases to amaze me. Recently, the Destiny community raised over $500k to St. Judes hospital. The game is thriving like never before. Make memories, make friends, have fun.

Would this system work with online platforms? For example, I am a teacher and have to teach students in person while having students online on Google meet. If I bought this, would my online students be able to hear me and would I be able to hear them?
Hi there. I am a teacher as well. This would allow your students to hear you but you wouldn't be able to hear them. For that scenario, I used the Anker Power conference instead. I had to teach in-person students and virtual students at the same time. The Anker allowed me to speak freely into it's embedded mic and I could hear students from the speaker as well.

I understand that this wouldn’t automatically amplify someone’s voice, but if it is connected to a computer, can the audio be heard through speakers when connected through audio software?
Yes. Using the USB 3.0 receiver and the included extension cable, I was able to use it with Streamlabs OBS and add filters. This allows me to use the mic when streaming content, in Zoom, or even project the voice through speakers that the computer might be paired with.

Yes, it does. I use it to extent the display, but you can easily mirror this in the display options of a windows 10 or a Mac.

No mute button, but 22 hour battery life. Great for listening to calls without hearing surrounding noise.

It doesn't come with the sweeper for floors. I was disappointed when I didn't find one. You have to purchase that separately.
