Small Offices and Teacher Haven!

The setup of the HP printer was quick. However, I did encounter a problem in which I couldn’t get the “printer details” (as per the app). This printer was able to print a 24 page double-sided document of mostly text and the occasional full page image in about 2 minutes. The print quality is excellent for my emerging bilingual readers. It wasn’t loud in comparison to full size office printers.

The product meets my expectations. I work as a teacher and our school provides full size printers. However, anyone who is a teacher knows that those full size printers jam more often than not or they are always busy with other teachers. My role this year requires me to have a smaller group of students. I often need to print about 20-30 4 page packets. This printer is more than capable of doing so in a timely manner and it's compact enough that I can have it in my small office without it occupying so much space. The document feeder is great for making physical copies. I wasn’t able to test the bed scanner because the printer’s app from both the iPhone's App Store and from the Microsoft Store would get stuck when trying to install all the features. Scanning is not high on the priority of things I intend to use it for, but it should be mentioned if that is what you’re looking for in an all in one printer.

This headset is a great replacement for my former headset and sounds incredible. I tested this headset with both 360 spatial and nonspatial auditory approved games while gaming on PC. In games like Doom Eternal, Resident Evil 2, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the audio immersion with 360 spatial audio is amazing. You can hear how far a sound is coming from and enjoy more nuanced sounds from various angles.

In order for 360 spatial audio to work, you have to take a picture of your ear using the Sony Headphones app. I already had a spatial audio profile from another Sony product, so all I had to do after downloading the INZONE H7 software to the computer was log in. My previously created audio profile was stored online and transferred to the PC experience.
I also share headphones with my wife. I have several pairs of headphones and she just grabs whatever is nearest. After several matches of Fallguys on PC, she asked why the headphones sounded better. It was only then she realized that she was holding a new pair of headphones and she could tell that the audio was improved over our previous pair.
Using the software, you can customize several settings as well as choose from two profiles, one for boosting bass and one for music/movies. The app was overall user friendly and I greatly appreciated having the ability to save several profiles for different needs. I wish there was a gaming profile, but that could easily be added with a future update. The software itself allows you to do a mic check and have the best mic levels setup according to a mic test.

This speaker packs a powerful enough punch to be a welcoming addition to small to medium living rooms or even a classroom with 25-30 students. I teach dance, and I tested out this speaker with my dance students. They were able to comfortably listen to the music when dancing was required, and I was able to quickly pause the music from anywhere in the room because of the bluetooth connectivity.

As a dance teacher, I travel to multiple dance studios throughout the city on different days. Having a speaker that I can carry in my backpack without much noticeable weight is ideal. All in all, the speaker is 4 inches tall, 1.6 inches wide, 4 inches in depth, and weighs less than a pound. The strap allows me to hang it if I need it to be higher, but I usually just place it on available tables. The design is very intuitive. I immediately figured out how to raise and lower the volume as well as change tracks.
Since the speaker is water resistant, I use it to listen to music that I am going to use for my classes while I am showering. I was able to use the strap and hang it from the shower rod for a closer listen during my shower routine. With 15 hours of battery life, the speaker had no problem lasting all day, even a second day, without needing a recharge. It takes about 3 hours for a full charge, but if you need to, you can take advantage of the quick-charge feature and a 20 minute charge can get you 3 hours of use!

If you have a small to medium room size and need to fill it with audio, this speaker does a wonderful job. If you plan on traveling with your sound, like say, riding a bike or going on a walking trail, this speaker would have no problem attaching to your bicycle or on the side of your backpack. Overall, this is an impressive little guy for the amount of sound you can get out of it.

During the use of the Square P.O.S., customers easily understood their payment options: Card Chips reader or tapping. A few customers loved that they could just tap their phone instead of taking out a credit card. Some customers that were in line to pay saw those ahead using the phone-tap to pay and asked about how they could do that too. I helped them after our dance lessons and were excited to try at the next class.
Because the nature of my business requires me to travel to various dance studios or restaurant venues for dance socials, I take the P.O.S. with me. Traveling with it is not a major inconvenience as I keep it in the box that it came in. I appreciated the stickers that came in the box for an even more official look for the type of payment that my dance company accepts. Overall, I haven’t had a single issue since transitioning from my former card reader to my new Square P.O.S..

This mount has a strong enough magnet to prevent it from falling off while driving, even in bumpy terrain. You are only allowed to mount the phone in one way, but the mount itself does swivel if you need to use it in landscape mode.

There are two things that I don’t like about this mount, but these may not apply to you, so make your purchase decision based on the following:
1. The phonemount is heavy enough that it will make your air vent aim down. If you need to use the air vent as its intended purpose, you will lose that vent plus whatever air is coming out from it will now be flowing down from that vent.
2. In order for you to use this mount, you need to have no case on your iPhone. I use a case that is cumbersome to remove and put back on every time that I have to use it. For that reason, I will only use this wireless charging mount when I have a planned long trip in which I am not going to be removing my phone from the case constantly.
If these two things don’t bother nor apply to you, then this is a very good mount to get. With dashboard mounts, your phone is further away from you. With this air vent mount, your phone is closer to your eyes, making it easier to see what you need to see. This was quickly evident when I was using it with a GPS app. It was easier to read the streets that it wanted me to turn on just by having the phone closer to my eyes than when compared to a dashboard mount.

This smart lock replaced a former smart lock that didn’t have a camera. The installation took a bit longer than I expected because the video kept on making references to letters assigned to screws (for example, take 2 “F” screws) but they were mislabeled. There were no “F” screws. This happened with every letter and screw the video mentioned. However, the visual guide of the video helped me finish the installation. I’m sure an update can take care of that.

You do need to download two separate apps, one for the video guide which you will only use once during the installation, and one for managing the settings on the lock itself. The hub that communicates with the smart lock is compact, a welcoming sight compared to other smart lock hubs I’ve owned. By far, it has been the most responsive when making changes.
I was able to quickly register a fingerprint for my wife and myself in a few minutes. I was also able to create 3 unique codes that I needed, one for my wife, one for myself, and one for a cleaning crew. With every entry, I got a notification of which code was used along with a video of the person unlocking the door.
The smart lock doesn’t automatically record video as a dedicated security camera would. Instead, it only records video if someone is trying to open the door (or successfully unlocks it with a code), or if someone rings the doorbell. There is a nice plaque you can install that’s included in the box that asks visitors to please ring the doorbell. Upon ringing the doorbell, the app notifies you that someone is at your door. You can choose to unlock the door remotely or engage in communication with the person via voice.
I really am liking this smart lock. If there was a suggestion to improve this it would be to audibly say something like, “The door failed to lock, please try again.” My previous smart lock would do this and it was quick to know it wasn’t closed properly. With this one, It’s hard to tell if it locked properly or not just by sound. I always do a door check before leaving, so it’s not a big issue for me, but it would be nice to hear a confirmation.
Lastly, this uses 8 AA batteries to work. I don’t know how long the batteries will last, but that seems like a lot of batteries to have to keep buying. I will be buying 8 rechargeable batteries once the packaged ones run their course. It’s only startling because other smart locks I’ve used use rechargeable battery packs.

This lapel mic is a wonderful tool to use as a blogger. I have an instagram account strictly for my salsa and bachata followers. As a dance instructor, it is important to post videos in which I am explaining the moves. Viewers can best learn moves when they are facing the same direction as the instructor. This means that I have to give my back to the camera and speak away from the phone. With this wireless lapel microphone, I can turn around and continue talking while my viewers can listen to my instructions as if I was facing them. Additionally, because there are no wires or cables to deal with, I can turn and spin as much as I want to without worrying about tangling myself up or having a cable become unplugged. It gives me the freedom to move as far away as 60 feet, which is something I might have to do if someone is recording me while I am on a performance stage. If there was something I would want to improve on this device is to allow the receiver to have an auxiliary port so that we could capture audio and use the headphones to monitor the sound picked up by the mic. Regardless of this, it is a great product!
Things to note: This lapel microphone won’t double as a phone call microphone or online chatting microphone. The mic is on a 2.4GHz frequency and is only compatible with iPhone lightning ports, not the USB-C port from the newer iPads.

Visually, these headphones didn’t stand out much compared to other headphones I’ve owned. In fact, they are prone to getting oily quickly and don’t scream quality at first glance. However, what it lacks visually more than makes up with its superb features.

The over-the-ear cup design makes these one of the most comfortable headphones I’ve worn to date. It helps that they are light to wear and its minimalistic design makes it intuitive to use the controls available. The headband has a memory foam that lies comfortably on your head for extended periods of time. The true value of these headphones comes with the customization provided for you in the free Sony app.
Within the Sony app, you can turn on several features that are unique to scenarios you may encounter. For example, these headphones come with superb ANC technology. What this means is that the embedded 8 microphones on the headphones turn on to block ambient sound around you and make your listening experience sound as if you are listening to your audio in a vacuum, allowing you to truly focus on what you’re listening to. In the app, you can turn on a feature that will automatically turn off the ANC if you start talking with someone so that you can clearly hear them. At that point, the microphones will capture the voice of the person talking to you, and you will hear them through the headphones. This is great if all you plan to do is listen to your audio. However, if you like singing along to your tunes, it doesn’t work so well. Since it’s a feature you can turn on or off, you can decide what you prefer.
Similarly, if you have the auto-ambient feature off, you can still turn off ANC temporarily and quickly with the intuitive touch-capacitive controls. Place the palm of your hand on the right ear cup and your music will automatically fade and ANC will turn off, allowing you to listen to what you need to listen to. Imagine being on a subway and you need to hear the stop. This would be an ideal use of the quick ANC turn-off feature.
The headphones also detect when you remove them. Doing so, it pauses what you are listening to, including watching shows from a streaming service. This is a feature that I enjoyed more and more because it’s just practical.
The headphones feature 360 Reality Audio. For it to work, you need to take pictures of your ears within the app, the pictures are sent to a Sony server to be analyzed, and in return, you get a personalized 360 audio experience with specific apps. Some require a subscription. However, you can try the feature with the free 360 Reality Audio. I followed instructions and set up my personalized audio experience with the 360 Reality Audio app. I listened to the audio before and after the analysis of my ears. I personally didn’t find a difference, but the sound of the headphones is enjoyable nonetheless.

This computer is lightning fast at turning on and just as good at running your games. Upon finishing with all the updates, I downloaded the following clients: Steam, Xbox GamePass App, and the Epic Games Stores (EGS). I connected this PC to my Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Gaming monitor.

The PC was tested with the following games: Control (EGS), Halo Infinite and Tunic (Xbox GamePass App), and Deathloop and Elden Ring (STEAM). For all games, playing at 1080P 16:9 was the most ideal experience, allowing me to play at the highest or ultra graphical settings. With HDR on, the games look fantastic and still run smoothly.
With Halo, the PC had no trouble keeping up with the 60 FPS that is preferable in first person shooters. Control Ultimate edition allowed me to turn on Raytracing reflections, but at the cost of visual fidelity, which I didn’t mind because the game still looked amazing and the reflections provided better immersion. Playing Elden Ring brought me great satisfaction, as it is one of my newest games, yet it ran smoothly at the highest quality settings. Tunic looked simply stunning and I completely lost myself for longer than I anticipated.
--- EXPECTATIONS ---
This PC is great and very customizable if you plan on making future upgrades. The glass pane is easy to install. The only thing that is noticeable is how loud it is when playing graphic-intensive games. You will notice how loud it is during quiet sections of the game if you are playing without headphones. If you are wearing gaming headphones, then it isn’t a big issue.

Destiny is the only console game that has held its replay-ability over the last two year AND STILL going strong. Destiny is the flagship games for consoles. It is by far, a MUST HAVE for ANY console player. I'm fixing to buy this as a gift and a few more for starting friends. The game is honestly the best game to come home to every night.
There is so much to do in Destiny, it'll seem overwhelming at first. The economy is booming, so many quests, loot, strikes, raids, bosses, prisons, etc. Bungie is an amazing developing company that is community focused and dedicated to amaze the players. The YouTube and Twitch community is outstanding and never ceases to amaze me. Recently, the Destiny community raised over $500k to St. Judes hospital. The game is thriving like never before. Make memories, make friends, have fun.

The Xbox controller has an auxiliary port. You can connect the headset using that auxiliary port directly without the Super AMP. The sound will come through and work.

Is It easy to connect for streaming on OBS?
Yes, it is. I use OBS and an ELGATO when capturing footage from my PS4. The problem I have when I connect a headset is that the audio cuts off and won't be heard by OBS. Through the Super Amp, the PS4 audio will come to your headset but the PS4 will still send out audio to the ELGATO. It's a neat solution to that problem, if you are willing to put up with all the cables that you will have to run (but that are all included).

Is it possible to have a separate modem for gaming on a PS4 system, than the modem that I already have set up for the rest of the household? I have satellite Internet service, and unfortunately there is considerable lag.
If you mean to have 2 modems by two different companies, yes, that is possible. However, this is a modem that works only for one ISP at a time. You can plug a router to it, but it wouldn't solve the issue of the lag that happens when gaming via satellite internet. That is a persistent issue that can't be solved because of the way that the internet arrives to your location. The only solution would be to change to a non-satellite ISP. I hope there is one in your area.

No. As long as you remember the email and password that you registered your product to, you can reinstall the software to any new computer that you purchase.

That's correct. So long as what you bought isn't the Office 365 service, then you own this software forever. Compatibility updates are included, but when 2020 or other features occur, yours won't update to those unless you buy them as well. With Office 365, the subscription service, you get those services yearly. Don't forget the email you used to activate your product because if you ever need to re-download the software to a different computer, it is attached to that email key.

Yes, it can. I scanned a very wrinkled certificate award I received from a state-wide competition. The scan appeared in color and I was able to print the colored version to my other printer using card stock, making myself a copy of the award in a crisp new look. Photos should work the same. I have included a picture of my scan (I turned the file into PDF, but jpeg and PNG (both photo files) were also options. Hope this answers your question.
