Visually, these headphones didn’t stand out much compared to other headphones I’ve owned. In fact, they are prone to getting oily quickly and don’t scream quality at first glance. However, what it lacks visually more than makes up with its superb features.
Visually, these headphones didn’t stand out much compared to other headphones I’ve owned. In fact, they are prone to getting oily quickly and don’t scream quality at first glance. However, what it lacks visually more than makes up with its superb features.
The over-the-ear cup design makes these one of the most comfortable headphones I’ve worn to date. It helps that they are light to wear and its minimalistic design makes it intuitive to use the controls available. The headband has a memory foam that lies comfortably on your head for extended periods of time. The true value of these headphones comes with the customization provided for you in the free Sony app.
Within the Sony app, you can turn on several features that are unique to scenarios you may encounter. For example, these headphones come with superb ANC technology. What this means is that the embedded 8 microphones on the headphones turn on to block ambient sound around you and make your listening experience sound as if you are listening to your audio in a vacuum, allowing you to truly focus on what you’re listening to. In the app, you can turn on a feature that will automatically turn off the ANC if you start talking with someone so that you can clearly hear them. At that point, the microphones will capture the voice of the person talking to you, and you will hear them through the headphones. This is great if all you plan to do is listen to your audio. However, if you like singing along to your tunes, it doesn’t work so well. Since it’s a feature you can turn on or off, you can decide what you prefer.
Similarly, if you have the auto-ambient feature off, you can still turn off ANC temporarily and quickly with the intuitive touch-capacitive controls. Place the palm of your hand on the right ear cup and your music will automatically fade and ANC will turn off, allowing you to listen to what you need to listen to. Imagine being on a subway and you need to hear the stop. This would be an ideal use of the quick ANC turn-off feature.
The headphones also detect when you remove them. Doing so, it pauses what you are listening to, including watching shows from a streaming service. This is a feature that I enjoyed more and more because it’s just practical.
The headphones feature 360 Reality Audio. For it to work, you need to take pictures of your ears within the app, the pictures are sent to a Sony server to be analyzed, and in return, you get a personalized 360 audio experience with specific apps. Some require a subscription. However, you can try the feature with the free 360 Reality Audio. I followed instructions and set up my personalized audio experience with the 360 Reality Audio app. I listened to the audio before and after the analysis of my ears. I personally didn’t find a difference, but the sound of the headphones is enjoyable nonetheless.

This computer is lightning fast at turning on and just as good at running your games. Upon finishing with all the updates, I downloaded the following clients: Steam, Xbox GamePass App, and the Epic Games Stores (EGS). I connected this PC to my Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Gaming monitor.

The PC was tested with the following games: Control (EGS), Halo Infinite and Tunic (Xbox GamePass App), and Deathloop and Elden Ring (STEAM). For all games, playing at 1080P 16:9 was the most ideal experience, allowing me to play at the highest or ultra graphical settings. With HDR on, the games look fantastic and still run smoothly.
With Halo, the PC had no trouble keeping up with the 60 FPS that is preferable in first person shooters. Control Ultimate edition allowed me to turn on Raytracing reflections, but at the cost of visual fidelity, which I didn’t mind because the game still looked amazing and the reflections provided better immersion. Playing Elden Ring brought me great satisfaction, as it is one of my newest games, yet it ran smoothly at the highest quality settings. Tunic looked simply stunning and I completely lost myself for longer than I anticipated.
--- EXPECTATIONS ---
This PC is great and very customizable if you plan on making future upgrades. The glass pane is easy to install. The only thing that is noticeable is how loud it is when playing graphic-intensive games. You will notice how loud it is during quiet sections of the game if you are playing without headphones. If you are wearing gaming headphones, then it isn’t a big issue.

This product was sent to me to review but my wife used it consistently for at least 2 weeks. The review that follows are typed words based on my wife’s experience.

However, what I couldn’t change was the time. Being a smart clock, it should display the time from my phone, as it is using bluetooth and my home wifi network to display the time. However, the clock set itself up as one hour ahead. I was trying to see if there was a way to change the daylight savings time settings, but neither through the voice nor through the app settings was that possible. Hopefully, the clock situation will change.
Additionally, saying “Alexa” to get it to do things with the voice was more a miss than a hit. I felt as if I needed to raise my voice more than usual or get closer to the device before it recognized the “Alexa” prompt. I’m used to other smart devices with voice prompts and I use them daily, but none require as much effort as this clock does for me.

As it is, I can only recommend this product if you don’t plan on using the smart features too often. Having to change everything on the app is not a friendly experience and the voice prompt doesn’t work as well as other Alexa-friendly devices.

The performance was pretty good. You have the ability to turn the ambient sound on and off as well as adjust the level of noise you want when on. There are separate volume buttons to raise and lower the volume of your audio. I tested these in two places. The first time, I was adding air to my wife’s tires on her car. Our air pump is pretty loud. Combined with the noise of the car, that’s a lot of noise added. Because I turned on the ambient sound, I was able to clearly hear my wife from a safe distance while my ears felt protected from the pump and running car.
The performance was pretty good. You have the ability to turn the ambient sound on and off as well as adjust the level of noise you want when on. There are separate volume buttons to raise and lower the volume of your audio. I tested these in two places. The first time, I was adding air to my wife’s tires on her car. Our air pump is pretty loud. Combined with the noise of the car, that’s a lot of noise added. Because I turned on the ambient sound, I was able to clearly hear my wife from a safe distance while my ears felt protected from the pump and running car.
The actual reason why I got these was because I am a dance instructor by night. At least three times a week, I am at a dance club dancing near giant speakers. An ear doctor told me that my hearing had decreased, so I decided to protect my ears with these. I could still clearly hear the Salsa songs without interfering with the timing of the dance. I was not out of place wearing these, as other people wear similar protection. However, I liked that I could hear a different song or my own phone notifications while I waited for the next dance.

The product meets my expectations. There is only one caveat that I’d like to address. When you turn on the ambient sound, if I accidentally covered the outside of the earbud, I would get a high-pitched noise similar to when you place a microphone in front of a speaker. This is often referred to as feedback. It only happened when I touched and covered the earbud, which I wouldn’t do intentionally, but you will end up doing it when putting on the earbuds or removing them. Other than that, I do enjoy their performance.

I have ridden all types of paid electric scooters and always wanted to own one myself. I had heard of hoverboards but not the Hover scooter. I have ridden all types of paid electric scooters and always wanted to own one myself. I had heard of hoverboards but not the Hover scooter. Seeing as how the scooter has no suspension, you will feel a bumpy ride if the road isn’t smooth enough, but nothing that is any different from paid scooters found in public. The board you stand on has grip, akin to that of skateboards. This made my feet feel secure where I was stepping on and I was able to keep my balance without any issues. There are a few speed bumps in my neighborhood, and at first, I was circumventing them. I decided to try going over one of them and was a bit concerned because the board you stand on is long. I was able to clear the speed bump going at around 8-10 miles an hour with no problem at all. When I wasn’t using the scooter, there’s a simple kickstand that holds your scooter up. It’s nothing fancy but it does the job well. I felt as though the scooter wouldn’t drop on it’s own unless a stronger force pushed it.
Pairing the bluetooth speaker was great because it allowed me to use the scooter with music. The speaker is located on the bottom of the board. Owning many bluetooth speakers, I can tell you this is not the highest quality of sound you will hear. That being said, you will hear your tunes even when riding at 15 miles an hour. The speaker works for music, not so much for podcasts as the scooter itself rattles quite a bit when going fast. Also, you must set the volume before you ride, as the interface of the scooter doesn’t allow you to raise, lower, or pause the bluetooth audio.
In terms of using it, the right handlebar has a switch you push down for the throttle while the left handlebar has a switch that works for the break. The break works pretty well and takes getting used to for about a minute to understand how quickly you will actually slow down. There is also an emergency manual break you can use with your foot by pressing down on the back wheel cover. This is the simplest, most easy to understand scooter I’ve used.
Though the features it offers aren’t the best of the line, there’s no denying that this scooter will get many hours of use from simply going out to pick up the mail to leisure time at the park.

At the time of this review, I weighed 225 lbs. The scooter had no problem speeding up and taking me where I pleased. I recommend this review for anyone from teenagers to adults. It feels great going to a park with your own scooter knowing that you’re not spending cents or dollars per minute and you can ride wherever you want to go without restrictions. You will love it.

GAMING:
For gaming, I plugged in my Xbox Series X on HDMI port 1 and my MSI Delta 240hz gaming laptop with Ryzen R7-5800H Processor, Radeon RX6700M graphics card, 16GB Memory. For comparison, I downloaded Halo Infinite on both my Series X and my laptop. It is truly a stunning view to behold! Since the HDMI port is a 2.1, my Xbox was able to open the game at 4K 120Hz and it looked stunning. Definitely a step up from my previous 1440/60 setup. Game animation was fluid and you can tell the difference between 60Hz and 120 Hz.

I then switched over to my PC and played the same game. This time, at a 4K resolution, it left me breathless. It will be hard to go back to another monitor that isn’t this one. My wife happened to walk by when I was playing and she just uttered, “WOW,” looking at how gorgeous the landscapes looked. I then tried Forza Horizon 5 and you can tell this monitor gives you something extra special with racing games. Game after game, the monitor kept showing me what an extra wonderful experience gaming can be with the proper hardware and setup.
One of my favorite features was the picture in picture mode. When I had to do some work from home, I would turn on picture in picture and use the Xbox on the left side of the screen while I had my work space on the right side of the screen. This allowed me to gradually make progress for my work between matches of Halo multiplayer. Just for testing, I really enjoyed the fact that I could have Halo on the left and Death Loop on the PC on the right side of the monitor. Definitely not the ideal way to play both games, but it is a fun concept and there might be a potential use for that. For now, my summer streaming setup will be much easier seeing as how now I have so much more desktop space to move windows when streaming with Streamlabs OBS.
Finally, in preparing for this review, I read several comments from previous owners. There might have been an issue with an older model of this monitor. However, when mine arrived, there was a sticker that had a manufacturing date of August 2021. Also, the ports on this monitor are HDMI 2.1, so it will work great with your PS5 or Xbox Series X, if that’s what you game on. For PC, your best experience is to use a display port if you have one.

I was able to pair them to my iPhone Pro Max 12 in about 30 seconds and I was listening to my podcast in less than a minute. I went on some errands and I was using them so I could listen to my choice of sound. I switched between podcasts, music, and audiobooks. I was able to listen to everything with no problem, but I did have to raise the volume at louder environments, such as the mall. While walking around and shopping, two people complimented me on the glasses. I shared with one of them that they had speakers in the temples, and they exclaimed that they didn’t even know such tech existed.

The glasses themselves do a great job of protecting my eyesight from the sun while walking and driving against the sunlight. This is actually my third pair of bluetooth sunglasses. The issues I’ve had with my previous pair is that they all have tried to push touch controls on the temples; this has always given me mixed results. The Lucyd Lyte sunglasses have physical buttons. To pause, raise/lower the volume, or skip/rewind a track, you have to push on either the left or right metallic physical buttons near the hinges of the glasses. This was a welcomed change in my smart glasses as there was less guesswork from the eyewear as to what I wanted it to do. To lower the volume, you press the left temple button once every time you want to lower it. To raise the volume, you use the right temple button. To play or pause your audio, you press either of the buttons twice. To skip a track, you press the right button three times, and to rewind the button, you press the left button three times. The button presses are fairly intuitive and easy to understand. The fact that they are physical buttons eliminates the guesswork of finding where the touch controls would be.
While being away from my phone, the connectivity remained. Sometimes, I would go back to my apartment to get something and my phone stayed in the vehicle. The music continued seamlessly and without dropping audio. Speaking of not dropping audio, phone calls are very clear. Since the microphone has noise-canceling capabilities, my own voice is clear as well when speaking back to my callers.
The only issue I had was at the beginning of setup. I couldn’t get the volume to work with the button presses. All the other functions worked fine except the volume. What I did was unpair the sunglasses from my phone and re-paired them. After that, all functionalities have worked well.
Lastly, if you are a prescription-glass wearer, these glasses are Rx ready. I spend more time using my prescription glasses vs. my prescription sunglasses. I will be going to the doctor to change the prescription on these as the frames and the audio create a great user experience that I want with me at all times.

I took these glasses on a road trip. My partner and I don’t like listening to the same music, so I got to wear my new shades while listening to my choice in sound. From just sun glasses point of view, they did their job to protect my eyes. I was able to see the road better while the bright sun was hitting my face.

As far as the speakers are concerned, they don’t cover your ear. Instead, the music plays from two tiny speakers on the temples and you hear the music because they are close to your ears. I did enjoy the experience. Being in a vehicle with loud external noises, I had to raise the volume alll the way up but it was comfortable to hear my music and podcast with no issues. Not once did I experience an audio drop.
The glasses themselves are stylish and comfortable to wear. The temples open outward a little when you wear them, so they are not tightly hugging your face. Moving in and out of the vehicle at various gas stations and even on walking trails, they never fell or slipped out of place.
I enjoyed my experience with them except that Alexa didn’t work 100%. When you say, “Alexa,” there is a blue light that indicates it is listening to you. The blue light is unobtrusive at the top of the right eye frame. After I said Alexa, it was a hit or miss Alexa hearing what I was asking. These were paired to an iPhone Pro Max 12. My iPhone and the Alexa app were both up to date and I double checked for that. It wasn’t a big issue for me because I’m used to using Siri, which worked with the glasses.

Destiny is the only console game that has held its replay-ability over the last two year AND STILL going strong. Destiny is the flagship games for consoles. It is by far, a MUST HAVE for ANY console player. I'm fixing to buy this as a gift and a few more for starting friends. The game is honestly the best game to come home to every night.
There is so much to do in Destiny, it'll seem overwhelming at first. The economy is booming, so many quests, loot, strikes, raids, bosses, prisons, etc. Bungie is an amazing developing company that is community focused and dedicated to amaze the players. The YouTube and Twitch community is outstanding and never ceases to amaze me. Recently, the Destiny community raised over $500k to St. Judes hospital. The game is thriving like never before. Make memories, make friends, have fun.

Dolby Atmos works with any stereo headset. I already tested it and it works.

You don't. It works with the Xbox One X/S and the Xbox Series X/S. You can buy a separate transmitter and use the same headset with the PS5.

I need a web cam for a presentation for a a showing on Facebook. The web cam will be on a screen from a projector going to Facebook live. Would this be the web cam to get or should I get a different one?
If your camera will be aiming at a screen projector, then make sure that the room is dark and that the lighting in your room doesn't change much change much. Use the software to turn off the automatic focus features and as long as people don't walk in front of the camera, it should be fine. Though this is possible, it is not the ideal way to show something on facebook that requires people to look at what's being projected. Might I suggest you look into OBS, a free streaming software. With OBS, you should have the ability to stream to FACEBOOK and switch back and forth between the WebCam feed and the presentation, meaning that the people watching on Facebook will see the clearest presentation because it's as if they were there in the same room with you. Depending on how much time you have to learn OBS, you may have to use the Webcam the way you want for now, but try OBS for a future presentation. You will love it.

Can I use an external microphone with this camera? If so can you tell me how?
I use it with OBS and in that software, you can use the camera but change to a different microphone. All you have to do is mute the camera's microphone (it the camera settings in OBS, you'll have that option) and plug the microphone you want to use and make sure it isn't muted.
