The setup of the Corsair wireless mouse was simple. It has a rechargeable battery that needs to be fully charged before wireless use. After plugging it in out of the box, the mouse was fully charged in 35 minutes. My PC automatically recognized the mouse peripheral and began to install the drivers for functionality. After that, I was able to use the mouse.

The key feature of this gaming mouse is that it has 9 programmable buttons. Some buttons have features that can give you the edge in a multiplayer match. For example, there is a sniper button, which causes your crosshair in a match to slow down for precision shooting. The maximum dots per inch (DPI) is 16000, perfect for that quick aim in shooters. This mouse also has a magnetic attachment that can make it easier for southpaw gamers to use the mouse. There are three options for using your mouse, wired, wireless with the included 2.4 ghz wireless receiver, and wireless via bluetooth.

The performance of this mouse was great. I tested all three options and couldn’t notice a significant difference between the wired, 2.4 ghz, or the bluetooth connectivity. I still prefer the wired option but don’t be afraid to go wireless. The first game I tested with this mouse was a third person shooter called Darwin Project. I re-programmed the buttons in the mouse to be able to run, chop for materials, and construct several of the perks. I felt like it did improve my abilities in-game, as I was fully aware of all the buttons I needed to press without the guesswork from the keyboard. I also tested this mouse with a more fast-paced game like PUBG. Again, I couldn’t tell a big difference in using the mouse with a wire, with 2.4 ghz, or with bluetooth. Mapping the buttons on the mouse to the more commonly pressed items really helped a lot, though.

This is helpful if you have a large number of devices in the family and want to protect them all. Installing the software on other devices is a breeze. All you have to do is log into any PC or Mac on which you want the software and log in with the login that you created with the initial set up. You only need to use the activation code once. The performance of this software was excellent. I downloaded to my gaming computer but it didn’t find any threats. I then proceeded to installing this software on my wife’s Macbook Pro. There, it took over an hour of scanning. However, when it finished, it had found 17 threats to the Mac, some of which I recognized by name because I had gotten rid of them manually. Apparently, I didn’t do a thorough enough clean, as the malware was still there in certain files. The AVG software did a good job of identifying the level of threat and quarantined everything for me to delete or restore. I deleted everything and my wife’s Mac was now fully protected.

Amazing Speaker, Cumbersome Setup

The setup of the Sony SRS-XB41 portable bluetooth speaker is a little cumbersome. You have to download an app called Sony Music Center and it will guide you through connecting the bluetooth speaker. However, the app got stuck after the part where the phone connected via bluetooth on multiple attempts. After that, though, it worked as intended.

The key feature of this speaker is that it can connect to other compatible speakers for a fuller sound. I also own the Sony SRS-XB31 (the smaller version of this one, white). As a teacher with brutally honest students, they told me that they could hear the speaker very well. I could tell they weren’t lying when my next-door co-worker knocked on my door to tell me that the volume was too loud and asked if I could lower it. A button called “live” allows you to turn on a feature that makes your music sound fuller, almost as if you were present the day it was being recorded. Turning it on and off makes a difference, and I personally enjoyed the sound better with “live” on.

It takes the speaker’s party mode to a whole other level. With the Fiestable app, you can pretend to be a DJ and control several aspects of the speaker live while playing your music. I chose Sandstorm by DaRude (1999) and let the song ride out. Meanwhile, I used the Fiestable app to change the lights to my liking (illumination control works great), DJ the Sandstorm song by messing with the equalizer (DJ control, also works amazing), and added my own beats like a cowbell, a snare drum, or a bass drum sound effect with the motion of my phone (Motion Control, didn’t work as great). Overall, this app is worth the download if you plan to be using your speaker as the main source of music for parties. More so when you connect multiple speakers via Music Center.

The setup of the Sony WHCH700 was simple. Upon turning the headphones on, it automatically entered bluetooth pairing mode. My phone found it immediately and I was able to listen to music in under 2 minutes. If you ever have to pair a second device, just hold on the power button for 5-7 seconds and it will enter into bluetooth power mode again.

You can turn this on or off and what it does is it “listens” to the ambient sound around you and mutes it improving your listening experience. After opening the box, you see that it comes with 3 cables: the power cable, a USB to firewire cable, and a VGA cable, but I prefered using an HDMI cable which I already had. I tested all cables regardless and they all provide a stunning image for presentations. You only need to have 2 cables connected, the power cable and your choice for display from the aforementioned cables.

The setup for the Sony SRS XB31 speaker was easy but unnecessarily cumbersome. I paired it directly with the bluetooth on my phone but that wasn’t enough. Audio wouldn’t come out. My existing router is a Linksys AC4000 with Max Stream. It works with any router, but the process is much smoother with a Linksys Max Stream router. After plugging in the RE9000 extender, you wait one minute for the blinking light to turn solid orange. Then, you press the WPS button on your router and the WPS button on the extender and they connect in about 1 minute. After that, you can unplug the extender and plug it in an area that has weak WiFi signal at your home. The light on the extender will tell you if it’s a good spot or not. Solid green means strong signal. Solid orange means a weak signal. A blinking orange light means that the extender is too far away from the existing router. Guide yourself based on that lighting and you are good.

These earbuds come with several unique features. One of my favorite ones is the magnetized back of the tips. When you aren’t using the headphones, you can have them hang from your neck, as with most. However, the magnetized back of the tips allow for them to be more secured around your neck and won’t fall off as easily if you are making brisk movements. One complaint I do have is with a feature that it lacks. Sometimes, when you miss something on a podcast or want to hear a specific section of a song, with most headsets, you can rewind or fast-forward by holding the Skip Track button. It isn’t the case with these Sennheiser. The control options are the volume up/down buttons and a middle button between those two for turning on/off the headset and for pairing/answering/hanging up the phone. The volume up and down work by click it over and over until desired volume is found. When holding the volume buttons, what happens is, it will either skip to the beginning of the track (lower volume button) or skip to the next track (raise volume button). Fast-forwarding or rewinding tracks is an important feature that I feel cost this headset one star to be removed. If you haven’t used those features in your audio experiences in a while, then it shouldn’t be part of your purchasing decision.

Peace of mind for Mac or PC people.

The installation of Bitdefender was quick and easy. I just had to go to the website in the installation card and the instructions on the card itself were accurate and simple to follow. On a 140 Mbps download speed, it took a little under 30 seconds to download the client. After the client downloaded the software, Bitdefender installed itself onto my PC and informed me that I needed an update for it. The update did take about 3 minutes, but after that it was up and running.
The key feature of security software is that it can defend up to 5 devices for 1 price and can all be managed remotely with the mobile app, including both Android and iOS.
The performance this software is superb! The installation was quick on my first device, a Windows 10 PC. After the installation was done, the options to add further devices was presented to me. I chose the Mac option and a field box appeared to enter my email address that I could open in a mac to directly download the necessary files to secure my Mac. The process, again, was quick and easy. From there, I installed the app on my iOS and was able to see both of my previously installed devices plus had the option to install parental security on the mobile phone.
The software meets my expectations. With the app, I have a peace of mind knowing that I can keep track of my devices from anywhere that I am. I often leave my computers at home on because I have them working in the background with large video files that take time to export or upload. With the app, I can monitor my home devices remotely. I appreciate that Bitdefender Total Security didn’t make me buy different softwares for my Mac and my PC. All with one code, I can protect any 5 devices of my choice.
The price for peace of mind is more than affordable and worth the value. As a gamer, I appreciate the fact that it comes with game mode so that it doesn’t interrupt the installation or function of my games. When in work mode, any software that I install or am using continues functioning as it should. It even installs extensions to protect you while live-browsing the net in case you go into a website that could prove disastrous to you.
I highly recommend this product for people who are interested in protecting multiple devices regardless of whether you want total control (which it gives you) or don’t understand how it may protect you, as there is an autopilot mode that, after installation, doesn’t require you to have much input and it will do most of the heavy lifting in the background for you.

The setup Plantronics Backbeat FIT was simple. Upon turning it on, it already had a high battery, which I loved. My iPhone was able to find it rather quickly and pairing up was instantaneous.
The key feature of these headphones is that the battery life is quite long-lasting, a full 18 hours. After several hours of use, I haven’t had to charge them from when they were out of the box and it still says high battery. Also, they are lightweight in design, so they don’t feel heavy on your head. It works great when listening to phone calls as well and works with Siri or Cortana.
The performance for listening to all kinds of audio was satisfactory. I heard some Spanish rock music and it was able to handle the bass. I use them mostly for listening to podcasts and the performers’ voices come through loud and clear.
The headphones meets my expectations audio wise, but they do lack in comfort. For that reason, I deduct 2 stars, as comfort is a big key component of wearing headphones. Since the ear cups are meant to be over the ear and not around the ear, they push down on your ears quite a bit. For people who wear glasses, this can be very uncomfortable because it will be mushing part of your ear against the legs of your glasses. I tried them without my glasses as well, for a fair review. I still felt discomfort after a good hour. The complaint isn’t with the audio itself, just with the discomfort the headphones provides. I do have another Plantronics headset for the Xbox One that covers the entire ear and those are not uncomfortable at all. The brand is trustworthy, but this specific product may be discomforting to some.
The price for the headphones is a great value for its audio performance.
I highly recommend this product for people who do not wear glasses and whose head may not be as big or wide. It would be a perfect gift for teenagers.

Destiny is the only console game that has held its replay-ability over the last two year AND STILL going strong. Destiny is the flagship games for consoles. It is by far, a MUST HAVE for ANY console player. I'm fixing to buy this as a gift and a few more for starting friends. The game is honestly the best game to come home to every night.
There is so much to do in Destiny, it'll seem overwhelming at first. The economy is booming, so many quests, loot, strikes, raids, bosses, prisons, etc. Bungie is an amazing developing company that is community focused and dedicated to amaze the players. The YouTube and Twitch community is outstanding and never ceases to amaze me. Recently, the Destiny community raised over $500k to St. Judes hospital. The game is thriving like never before. You don't. It works with the Xbox One X/S and the Xbox Series X/S. You can buy a separate transmitter and use the same headset with the PS5.

Use the software to turn off the automatic focus features and as long as people don't walk in front of the camera, it should be fine. Though this is possible, it is not the ideal way to show something on facebook that requires people to look at what's being projected. Might I suggest you look into OBS, a free streaming software. With OBS, you should have the ability to stream to FACEBOOK and switch back and forth between the WebCam feed and the presentation, meaning that the people watching on Facebook will see the clearest presentation because it's as if they were there in the same room with you. Depending on how much time you have to learn OBS, you may have to use the Webcam the way you want for now, but try OBS for a future presentation. You will love it.

Can I use an external microphone with this camera? If so can you tell me how?
I use it with OBS and in that software, you can use the camera but change to a different microphone. All you have to do is mute the camera's microphone (it the camera settings in OBS, you'll have that option) and plug the microphone you want to use and make sure it isn't muted.
