The key feature of this hub is that you can turn your two USB-C ports from the MacBook Pro into 8 ports: 2 USB-Cs, 2 USB 3.0s, SD, Mirco SD, Ethernet port, and a 4K HDMI port. Additionally, it is self powered and doesn’t require to be plugged in anywhere other than your MacBook.

---PERFORMANCE---
The performance was phenomenal. I had purchased a cheaper, similar device online but when I plugged in my external USB Apple disc drive, it wouldn’t power up. With this Platinum hub, I was able to plug in the USB Apple disc drive and it worked flawlessly. I was also able to connect a tablet and my own Mac charging cable so that both devices were charging at the same time. It had no issues reading my 3.0 USBs nor my Mirco SD cards with and without the SD adapter. It is able to read up to 2 TB SD cards.

I tested this with my WiFi Modem/Router combo and it lasted me about 1 hour and 20 minutes. A clear audible alarm begins to beep when the back-up is close to running out of power giving you time to act. I simulated a power outage by unplugging the battery from the outlet and the transition from connected to back-up was seamless. I didn’t lose internet connection and all was good for the next hour and 45 minutes.

Forget about vacuuming for up to a month. The setup of the Shark IQ Robot vacuum was simple. You just plug the base making sure that it is against a wall and that on the left and right it has 3 feet of clearance and 5 feet in front of it. If you are installing it on a carpet, it comes with a plastic base extension. I installed it on hardwood floor, so I didn’t use the extension. The robot itself is ready to go except for installing 2 bristles by snapping them.

Additionally, if there is a place you don’t want your robot to travel to, you can install a special tape that prevents the robot from going into a room or a section of a room, like under a couch or to a place that may be riddled with cables.

I used the Alexa app and added the Shark Skill as explained in the Shark IQ app, but it would refuse to recognize the vacuum. Regardless, the Shark IQ app itself is easy to understand and use, so I don’t mind using the app to start and stop it if necessary. That being said, it is a touted feature and it a bit unfortunate that it didn’t work. It is supposed to work with Google Home as well, but I didn’t try it with that device.

For games like Surviving Mars or RPGs like Skyrim, I enjoyed customizing the G-keys for often used shortcuts. Also, as a YouTuber, I appreciate being able to customize those keys for quick cut and paste shortcuts when video editing.

---THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT---
Ever since I bought my first air fryer, I fell in love with them. This one is my third air fryer simply because they are easy to use and faster to cook in. To start with, this air fryer’s aesthetics compliment my kitchen’s other black appliances. It is shiny but with a matte look that doesn’t reflect you or your kitchen. It will be pleasant to look at if you decide to leave this on the counter top.

This is the first analog dial timer air fryer that I own. This can be a pro for people who aren’t used to digital timers or pushing buttons. My wife, for example, prefers using this air fryer now because you only have two things to turn for it to start cooking, the temperature and the timer dial. The dial timer is also a con because you can’t reduce the time to cook once you have set the timer where a digital timer would let you do that.
Cooking frozen, raw chicken wings was a breeze. The package stated that in a conventional oven, it would take 60 minutes. In the air fryer, it took 20 minutes. I marinated them with some lemon-pepper seasoning while frozen and they came out delicious.
I did have an issue closing the pan tank. It closed and cooked, but I noticed that it had to give it an extra small nudge for it to look closed, where as my other air fryers glide in and out with ease. Not something concerning, though, as the fryer works as intended.
The removable flat basket was a challenge to clean because food debris sticks to it. I sprayed it with PAM oil but it still didn’t clean as easy as I’d like. It is dishwasher safe, though, and I cleaned it by hand. It’s size makes it easier to store, but it is still a bulky item, like all air fryers. The weight of it may be a con to some if you are gifting this to people you may not be able to carry heavy items.

I highly recommend this product for people who prefer analog vs. digital options and are looking to cook for 2-3 people in their household.

The PRO headset from Logitech G is designed with and for esports pros. Aluminum forks, steel headband, and memory foam and premium leatherette head and ear pads keep you comfortable through marathon training and competition sessions. I tried this headset with FPS games like Hunt:Showdown and APEX Legends. The sound is really crisp and clear when playing these games. I tried them with a story based game, A Plague Tale: Innocence. However, doing that once will make you confident to repeat the process without having to read the manual again. After you fill the ink tanks with the ink bottles, plug on the printer, turn it on, and choose the option to begin charging the ink, as per the manual. There is no fear of mess or ink spillage due to the design in the ink bottles.

However, the many features that this printer offers makes it more adequate as an office printer where documents will be printed more often than pictures. Though there is no option for cardstock in paper type menu, I still tried printing with cardstock. I chose premium matte but the printer said there was a paper mismatch in the settings. After accepting to continue, the document I was trying to print came out but I didn’t like the quality of the colors on cardstock either. While setting up the wireless option, I went with what was recommended by the printer itself. That option kept failing as did the WPS option from router to printer. The option that worked best was having the printer find my WiFi network and I manually entered the password.

I got this laptop just days after Xbox Game Pass for PC was announced and to use that, it required a sizeable update that took about 2 hours on a 30 Mbps.

Destiny is the only console game that has held its replay-ability over the last two year AND STILL going strong. Destiny is the flagship games for consoles. It is by far, a MUST HAVE for ANY console player. I'm fixing to buy this as a gift and a few more for starting friends. The game is honestly the best game to come home to every night.
There is so much to do in Destiny, it'll seem overwhelming at first. The economy is booming, so many quests, loot, strikes, raids, bosses, prisons, etc. Bungie is an amazing developing company that is community focused and dedicated to amaze the players. The YouTube and Twitch community is outstanding and never ceases to amaze me. Recently, the Destiny community raised over $500k to St. Judes hospital. The game is thriving like never before. Make memories, make friends, have fun.

This works with the Xbox One X/S and the Series X/S. You can buy a separate dongle and use 1 headset for Series X and PS5.

Dolby Atmos works with any stereo headset. I already tested it and it works.

You don't. It works with the Xbox One X/S and the Xbox Series X/S. You can buy a separate transmitter and use the same headset with the PS5.

They do work with Xbox because of the included auxiliary cable. However, you won't be able to take advantage of the customization EQ options from a PC. That being said, if you have an Xbox and Dolby Atmos, then you are in for quite an experience.

I need a web cam for a presentation for a a showing on Facebook. The web cam will be on a screen from a projector going to Facebook live. Would this be the web cam to get or should I get a different one?
If your camera will be aiming at a screen projector, then make sure that the room is dark and that the lighting in your room doesn't change much change much. Use the software to turn off the automatic focus features and as long as people don't walk in front of the camera, it should be fine. Though this is possible, it is not the ideal way to show something on facebook that requires people to look at what's being projected. Might I suggest you look into OBS, a free streaming software. With OBS, you should have the ability to stream to FACEBOOK and switch back and forth between the WebCam feed and the presentation, meaning that the people watching on Facebook will see the clearest presentation because it's as if they were there in the same room with you. Depending on how much time you have to learn OBS, you may have to use the Webcam the way you want for now, but try OBS for a future presentation. You will love it.

Can I use an external microphone with this camera? If so can you tell me how?
I use it with OBS and in that software, you can use the camera but change to a different microphone. All you have to do is mute the camera's microphone (it the camera settings in OBS, you'll have that option) and plug the microphone you want to use and make sure it isn't muted.
