The key feature of this radio is that it has an IPX4 rating, which means that it is sweatproof but not waterproof. It has an alarm feature, 20 programmable stations, and auto-find station buttons. There is a removable strap that can warp around your arm. If removed, it can be used as a belt clip.

The performance of the radio is fair. The strap is big enough to wrap around thick arms, but thinner arms may have a good chunk of strap flapping around when running. It feels secure and doesn’t slip down when running. Occasionally, I did get static when listening to various stations and sometimes, the autofind would land on a station that was very static-y and only one more find away from a clearer channel. The performance of using this cam on OBS is excellent. I had recently purchased the game Blasphemous and I wanted to stream it with a FaceCam. This was just the incentive I needed to get that going. My viewers expressed how clear they could see my face and how smooth everything looked. Of course, you have to have a stable upstream internet with enough bandwidth to stream at 1080P 60. OBS can help you find that out through tools>autoconfiguration wizard before you buy the cam. OBS had no problem recognizing the camera and I was able to adjust the settings within OBS with ease. I used this in conjunction with the Blue Yeti X mic and there were no conflicts from either product.

The PS4 recognized it immediately and I was able to use it with no problem out of the box (after charging the headset). On my gaming PC, the PC was able to recognize the driver and installed the necessary files for it to work out of the box. To customize your headset sound and improve its audio, download the iCUE software.

On PS4, your games will sound better than TV speakers. On PC, that’s when you notice a big difference. The iCUE software allows you to turn on and off the surround sound with a noticeable difference when you flip it on and off. You can create various sound profiles which is helpful if you will share your PC and headset with multiple users. Within each profile, you can create various sound sets, with 5 presets available to you (FPS competition, Clear Chat, Bass Boost, Pure Direct, Movie Theater). Switching between them you can hear the difference and you can change the equalizer setting of any of them. In addition, you can create your own setting from scratch. I like that you can turn off Surround Sound 7.1 and turn the headset into stereo mode, allowing you to use features like Dolby Atmos.

For example, this headset is strictly for the PC and PS4 with no alternative option via an auxiliary port, which many headsets that include that can also work with an Xbox even if it says it’s only for PS4 or PC. The mic is detachable, but few gamers actually detach the mic. It is preferable to have a mic that hides out of view by swiveling it up and out of the way. With this headset, it has a flexible boom mic that will always be visible to you even if you aren’t using it. As far as buttons, it has a simple interface. There is an on button, a mute mic button, and a volume control dial. A button that would have been greatly appreciated would have been one that allows you to switch between presets. The software makes it sound like it has the capability, as when you change between presets, you hear a “1,” “2,” prompt. I looked on the instruction manual but there was no explanation on how to change presets in the headset itself. The ear cushions were comfortable enough for a 4-5 hours gaming session and the battery didn’t drain during that time. In the box, it says that you can download a free lite version of a software called MOTU. On my Mac, I couldn’t get it to install because the software is out of date, as per the message I got when trying to install it. It worked flawlessly with Final Cut Pro, recognizing the mic immediately.

The setup of the Blue Microphone Yeti X is quick and simple. It comes with a nice chrome base and a 6 foot micro USB plug for your computer. I removed the base and installed it on a Mic arm, which was a breeze as well. If you have an older version of the Yeti Mic, the base of this one fits the older model, but the USB cable is different.

The performance of the Yeti X is amazing. In Logitech G HUB, you are able to record yourself to preview how others will hear you. You can record any sample you want, like your own introduction to your podcast or gaming stream. After that, your recording will play on a loop. The performance of this transmitter was not on par with what I expected. The manual says that the included earbuds were pre-paired with the transmitter. As it turns out, mine weren’t. It took over 7 times to get them to pair properly. Once paired, if you want to raise or lower the volume, you have to go to the receiver, as the out-of-the-box headphones don’t have that possibility. The only button on each earbud is for turning off, turning on, and activating pairing mode. However, you have to press with extra force that normal and turning them on and/or off was a hassle most of the time. I tried pairing 3 other bluetooth headphones I own and I was only successful in pairing one other. The original earbuds lost their pairing after about 2 days and I had to repair them again.

Every night, you can answer a survey and watch 1-3 minute videos that educate you on what makes for a better sleep. I did all pre-surveys in 15 minutes the first night and I watched all the videos in about another 15, also the same night. They are very insightful, and I became more conscious of what I was doing during the day that eventually led to a bad night's rest. After that first day, there is a very short survey asking about your day nightly. That takes less than a minute to answer and it is based on a sliding scale. Some questions you answer are: How relaxed your day was (on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the most stressful); What activities did you do 3 hours before bedtime (exercise, drink caffeine, eat, or watch a screen for longer than 15 minutes); Were you prone to sleeping during the day unwillingly; How many naps did you take during the day. By answering these questions, you start to realize a pattern of your bad habits, but ultimately, it is up to you to correct them. There were only two instances that I had trouble with the app. One of them is when my Apple Watch ran out of battery while I slept. The app refused to stop tracking when I awoke. However, I placed my Apple Watch on the charger and in about a minute, the watch sent the data to the phone and the app resumed as normal. The other is that the app itself has the option to write daily notes and a dream catcher diary. Destiny is the only console game that has held its replay-ability over the last two year AND STILL going strong. Destiny is the flagship games for consoles. It is by far, a MUST HAVE for ANY console player. I'm fixing to buy this as a gift and a few more for starting friends. The game is honestly the best game to come home to every night.
There is so much to do in Destiny, it'll seem overwhelming at first. The economy is booming, so many quests, loot, strikes, raids, bosses, prisons, etc. Bungie is an amazing developing company that is community focused and dedicated to amaze the players. The YouTube and Twitch community is outstanding and never ceases to amaze me. Recently, the Destiny community raised over $500k to St. Judes hospital. The game is thriving like never before. Make memories, make friends, have fun.

This works with the Xbox One X/S and the Series X/S. You can buy a separate dongle and use 1 headset for Series X and PS5.

With this be Dolby Atmos compatible? Can't find any mention of that by Astro yet.
Dolby Atmos works with any stereo headset. I already tested it and it works.

You don't. It works with the Xbox One X/S and the Xbox Series X/S. You can buy a separate transmitter and use the same headset with the PS5.

I need a web cam for a presentation for a a showing on Facebook. The web cam will be on a screen from a projector going to Facebook live. Would this be the web cam to get or should I get a different one?
If your camera will be aiming at a screen projector, then make sure that the room is dark and that the lighting in your room doesn't change much change much. Use the software to turn off the automatic focus features and as long as people don't walk in front of the camera, it should be fine. Though this is possible, it is not the ideal way to show something on facebook that requires people to look at what's being projected. Might I suggest you look into OBS, a free streaming software. With OBS, you should have the ability to stream to FACEBOOK and switch back and forth between the WebCam feed and the presentation, meaning that the people watching on Facebook will see the clearest presentation because it's as if they were there in the same room with you. Depending on how much time you have to learn OBS, you may have to use the Webcam the way you want for now, but try OBS for a future presentation. You will love it.

Can I use an external microphone with this camera? If so can you tell me how?
I use it with OBS and in that software, you can use the camera but change to a different microphone. All you have to do is mute the camera's microphone (it the camera settings in OBS, you'll have that option) and plug the microphone you want to use and make sure it isn't muted.
