The setup for the Astros A20 was quick. In the package you can see a USB-C cable, the headsets, and 1 USB dongle transmitter. The transmitter goes plugged into your Xbox or PC and after a quick automatic installation of the software, the transmitter recognizes the headset.

The key feature of these Astros is that they are forward compatible with the Xbox Series X/S and, if you purchase a separate dongle, you can use them with a PS5 as well. This Xbox specific headset works with the current gen Xbox One/S.

The performance for the stereo headsets was ok compared to others that I’ve used. I tested this headset with DOOM Eternal on Xbox One X and Hades on PC. For games like Hades, I had a great time listening to the voices of the characters with crisp, clear sounds. That game isn’t too intensive when it comes to audio, so it was perfect for that type of game. For DOOM Eternal, a game with lots of heavy bass music and crunchy sounds, I found it lacking in the audio department. However, Xbox has a one-time payment audio feature called Dolby Atmos that turns stereo headsets like this one into a surround sound experience. With that feature on, it was a great improvement.

The product has its limitations. However, being a multi console owner, these headsets might redeem themselves once I can get my hands on a PS5 and Xbox Series X as the convenience of not having to switch headsets or transmitters could potentially outweigh the downfalls. Otherwise, the headset itself is light on the head and I found it comfortable for a person who wears glasses.

The performance is as expected but I do appreciate features that some of my older air fryers didn’t have. When air frying food, I use a small amount of oil or spam spray and it is easy to clean up afterwards. The food does cook considerably faster than what’s recommended on the packaging of what you’re cooking. There’s a growing trend in food packaging that now includes the amount of time to cook items in an air fryer, and this works as well.

My favorite mode to use on this new fryer is the bake mode. I don’t bake bread much, but I do like my baked pastas. Specifically, I like baked ravioli, and this air fryer is the perfect size for a ravioli meal for 2. Another function my older fryers lacked is one labeled pizza, which I see on microwaves but I never use. Here, I put in frozen pizza (that's on a half italian long bread) and it comes out crunchy and savory.

Simply rinse it to remove anything that might dry and you can do a more thorough cleaning later if needed.

The performance was phenomenal. I present often and it’s always a good idea to have a back-up. I would trust the J5 as my main form of presenting or as a backup, as it is just as reliable for either purpose. I tested this out with Mac and iOS devices. By plugging this in to the back of a TV, I was able to use my Mac to present a slide show wirelessly with very little noticeable lag. The audio came from the TV source, so I didn’t need additional speakers. Even more impressive was the ability to present a slideshow from my phone. I set my iPhone settings to mirror mode and my entire phone was visible wirelessly on the screen. I went through a presentation from Google Slides and was able to play video that was included in the slide. Again, from the phone to the J5 ScreenCast, there was no noticeable lag.

The performance of the juicer is wonderful. For our first use, we juiced 2 carrots, several slices of pineapple, 2 peaches, and 2 cucumbers. The machine is a bit noisy but that was expected. None of the fruits or vegetables had any trouble going down the chute once pushed down. The pitcher can fit a lot of juice, and the pulp receptacle is deep and can capture a lot of it. It was a bit confusing when trying to use the self-cleaning feature, but I eventually figured out that there is an arrow on the pusher that should aim on the right side of the machine to juice or the left side of the machine to self-clean. The cleaning function runs for 25 seconds rinsing the metal filter. All it cleans is the metal filter that separates the pulp from the juice. It makes it so that the filter can then just be rinsed and stored faster. However, you still have to take care of removing the pulp from the pulp receptacle which is the easier part of cleaning any juicer. When storring, you can dismantle the unit and it occupies less space.

My previous wireless mouse was also a logitech one. This new one has a nicer convex shape that feels better to use over an entire workday. The mouse glides with ease on a mousepad and the speed of the mouse on screen is fast enough for basic needs.

The setup for the Kitchen oven is easy, just plug and play. I did have to cut a side of the box to take it out because it was tightly packed. It is also cumbersome to carry, as it’s wider than I expected. Even if you can handle carrying heavy things, you might need two people because of its width.

One of the caveats of traditional air fryers is that you have to put a food item in and half-way through the timer, you have to open the fryer and flip the food in order for it to cook evenly. This KitchenAid Oven/AirFryer combination eliminates the need to flip items and cuts cooking time by almost half what’s recommended in food packaging. I tested it out with both, a salmon steak and a sirloin steak at the same time. After preheating the oven (does that by default), it took about 17 minutes for an evenly cooked salmon and a medium rare steak, which is how I eat them. Both were well cooked thoroughly and made for a delicious dinner. The following day, I tried reheating a frozen breaded chicken breast and it tasted like I had just purchased it from a fast foot restaurant. I also cooked some raw chicken on top while baking some macaroni in the bottom and I had a ball of a meal.
One of the caveats of traditional air fryers is that you have to put a food item in and half-way through the timer, you have to open the fryer and flip the food in order for it to cook evenly. This KitchenAid Oven/AirFryer combination eliminates the need to flip items and cuts cooking time by almost half what’s recommended in food packaging. I tested it out with both, a salmon steak and a sirloin steak at the same time. After preheating the oven (does that by default), it took about 17 minutes for an evenly cooked salmon and a medium rare steak, which is how I eat them. Upon opening the pod holder, the machine pushes the pod back towards a small trash receptacle that is embedded in the machine, allowing you to use the machine once a day for a work week before you have to empty the receptacle and clean it.

Under the wheel base, there is a nice oval-shaped groove to allow you to coil the cables in a neat way so that you only have the length that you need. You will need an electrical outlet nearby to complete the setup. The wheel itself has hooks that are easy to pull up and down with some cleverly hidden knobs that secure the wheel to any flat surface .

At first, the wheel didn’t work with Forza, but then I realized that was because I had the game opened before I finished plugging everything in. A quick closing and reopening of the game made the wheel work, and I haven’t had an issue since. The wheel automatically aligns itself, so be careful not to put your hand through the openings of the wheel. After it aligns, you can begin driving. It is possible to fully control all menus with the steering wheel itself. The peripheral feels solidly built, sturdy, and won’t get loose when properly installed.

In all games, there is a learning curve. The steering will feel natural if you’ve ever driven a real vehicle. My non-gaming wife was able to drive across the country roads in Forza Horizon and was just enjoying the views. However, since the pedals are pressure sensitive, you need to get used to how much to step on the break and not just slam it. The brake pedals provide a nice pushback against your foot and the gas pedal does feel like a real pedal. I played with the pedals on a carpet, so it didn’t move much when I was stepping on it. I imagine that you might want to place it over a non slip mat if you plan on using it in a non-carpeted area. When using the wheel in racing, I initially placed lower than I was used to. The more races I played, however, the higher I began moving up in rank. All races, even if I lost, were more fun to experience in this manner.
I was pleasantly surprised that the wheel worked with backwards compatibility games on Xbox One X. I tried Split/Second, an arcade-y racing game from Disney Interactive. It is surprisingly just as fun playing arcade style racing games compared to simulation racing. The only caveat is that between cutscenes, the wheel would rumble like crazy. Since it’s not necessarily intended for older gen games, that’s not something to drop the rating for.

This is a great racing wheel and the price of the unit is a great investment when purchasing it on the Xbox because Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has already publicly stated that all Xbox One X peripherals will be forward compatible. That means that when the Xbox Series X or S come out, you are already set to future racing games, extending the value of your purchase.

Destiny is the only console game that has held its replay-ability over the last two year AND STILL going strong. Destiny is the flagship games for consoles. It is by far, a MUST HAVE for ANY console player. I'm fixing to buy this as a gift and a few more for starting friends. The game is honestly the best game to come home to every night.
There is so much to do in Destiny, it'll seem overwhelming at first. The economy is booming, so many quests, loot, strikes, raids, bosses, prisons, etc. Bungie is an amazing developing company that is community focused and dedicated to amaze the players. The YouTube and Twitch community is outstanding and never ceases to amaze me. Recently, the Destiny community raised over $500k to St. Judes hospital. The game is thriving like never before. Make memories, make friends, have fun.

Dolby Atmos works with any stereo headset. I already tested it and it works.

You don't. It works with the Xbox One X/S and the Xbox Series X/S. You can buy a separate transmitter and use the same headset with the PS5.

Does the 923 support a stick shift?
Yes. Under the wheel base, there is a connection for a shift stick. It is not included in the unit, but you can buy it separately. You can see the shift stick icon in the picture I am including at the lower left side.

They do work with Xbox because of the included auxiliary cable. However, you won't be able to take advantage of the customization EQ options from a PC. That being said, if you have an Xbox and Dolby Atmos, then you are in for quite an experience.

I need a web cam for a presentation for a a showing on Facebook. The web cam will be on a screen from a projector going to Facebook live. Would this be the web cam to get or should I get a different one?
If your camera will be aiming at a screen projector, then make sure that the room is dark and that the lighting in your room doesn't change much change much. Use the software to turn off the automatic focus features and as long as people don't walk in front of the camera, it should be fine. Though this is possible, it is not the ideal way to show something on facebook that requires people to look at what's being projected. Might I suggest you look into OBS, a free streaming software. With OBS, you should have the ability to stream to FACEBOOK and switch back and forth between the WebCam feed and the presentation, meaning that the people watching on Facebook will see the clearest presentation because it's as if they were there in the same room with you. Depending on how much time you have to learn OBS, you may have to use the Webcam the way you want for now, but try OBS for a future presentation. You will love it.

Can I use an external microphone with this camera? If so can you tell me how?
I use it with OBS and in that software, you can use the camera but change to a different microphone. All you have to do is mute the camera's microphone (it the camera settings in OBS, you'll have that option) and plug the microphone you want to use and make sure it isn't muted.
