Take your GoPro HERO action camera with you to the water with this GoPole EVO 24" floating extension pole. The transparent design makes it almost invisible in shots, yet the high-visibility grip makes it easy to see on the water's surface for easy retrieval.

Pole of Choice For Underwater Adventures
on September 6, 2015

This was my second purchase for my GoPro. I prefer this style over the bobber style. It does actually float as well as hold the remote for other water activities. I like that the handle is quiet and doesn't rattle much. The loss of the star is that if the pole is extended underwater the tube fills with water and there is no way to get it out.

Best 5DMIII Kit
on February 23, 2014

I rented the 5DMIII, Nikon D800, D610 & D7100 before deciding on the 5DMIII. I had originally purchased the kit with the 24-105 f/4 lens and had nothing but problems. Junk on the sensor, focusing issues, lots of noise. So I returned it and purchased this kit. I wished it would have been discounted like the other kit but it seems this particular kit does not go on sale, none the less it is worth every single penny!
This was an upgrade from a 50D and I couldn't be happier. It was an easy transition. I love that I can put it in the auto mode for my husband and teenage daughters to take pictures with and still get amazing shots without having to know much about photography. The battery life is amazing. After the initial charge I have taken over 500 pictures in the last month and it's still got life left before I will have to recharge it! Low light is a dream. The pictures actually capture more than I can see with my own eyes. The 24-70 is truly a great combo for this camera. The video option is nice. I did not buy this camera for those capabilities but it definitely takes great video. Love the dual card slot.
The only real down side is it is a bit heavier that I would like but it still feels great in hand. I also wish it had more self timer options like the Nikons do.

What's great about it: long battery life, easy to use, gorgeous pictures
What's not so great: heavy, lack of self timer options

Nikon D800 DSLR Camera Body:Features a game-changing 36.3 megapixels resolution and FX-format sensor for professional photographers who demand superior speed and performance and end results of the highest quality. Combine it all with a powerful EXPEED 3 image-processing engine to render levels of photographic texture, nuance and detail that rival some of the best studio cameras. Plus, HD movie mode shoots at 1080p Full HD for spectacular videos. Although identical to the Nikon D800E in every other aspect, the D800 applies the full effect of the optical low-pass filter to prevent false color and moiré for consistent performance in all shooting situations.Memory card sold separately.

I wanted to love this camera. There was a steep learning curve for me coming over from Canon but in all it was a good fit. I really liked the way in felt in my hand with the ergonomic grip, all the shortcut buttons are in a good location, It takes phenomenal landscape shots. It shoots a bit too slow to take good shots of moving items but perfect for anything stationary. Operates beautifully under low lights and high ISO. However this particular body had so much dust/junk on the sensor that I had to edit it out of every shot. I refuse to spend this kind of money on a camera that has to be sent out for repair/cleaning right away so it went back.

What's great about it: Captures great landscapes
What's not so great: Dust and portraits
