Great step up from the Rebel Series

The camera feels good in hand. The most used camera settings are easily accessable and easy to change. The articulating lcd is a great feature and constructed well. It's nice to be able to tuck the screen in for protection. It's a camera that's easy to get comfortable with and one that I feel will be with me a long time. I really love this camera.
What's great about it: IQ, ease of use, ergonomics, & bang for the buck.
What's not so great: nothing so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than I could imagine it to be.

I really had a hard time making the decision to by the lense as opposed to upgrading my camera body. I kept thinking, how much better could it be than than what I'm using now. First time I took the lense out, I swear that what I was seeing on lcd was noticably sharper, more deeply saturaed, just better than I was used to seeing. I'm not sure if it was just me, but every time I looked at the previews, I kept thinking, wow. When, I finally am able to afford another camera body, I'll be set with a great lense to mount to it.
What's great about it: build quality, excellent image, nice weight
What's not so great: quality comes at a price, but I'm glad I have it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
