This sexy and wild release from the action packed anime series Master of Martial Hearts includes all five episodes of the series, following the story of four women brawling in an all-out girl-on-girl fight for the possession of a magical artifact called the Platonic Heart, which can grant any wish.

Still not cheap enough.

I bought this at the higher price when it was first released and it turned into the first anime purchase that I regretted. The story is frustrating to follow and then goes into information overload in the final episode and your left dazed and confused. It looks good, the fighting is fair but when you get down to brass tacks, it just not very good. If your buying this thinking its anything other than a fan-service driven presentation, (and I can think of a number of shows that do a better job at it) your kidding yourself.

This might be harsh but, I can't believe this story line got signed off on by the person in charge. It delivers what the box and the trailers are selling in terms of the fight scenes and the "scenery" when it comes to the characters, but the whole thing is kind of strange. The story loosely holds itself together (like the characters clothing) through the first 4 and a half episodes, but then spins out of control into a complete disaster through the final 11 minutes, almost like they got through the first 4 shows and realized "we can't keep this going anylonger, we've got to wrap it up."
From the story to the 25 minute run time per show and only five episodes, it seemed pretty cobeled together and is probably overpriced.
If you're buying this to watch chicks beat each other up and loose most of their clothing, it does that well, but don't lie to yourself and buy it thinking there is any form of story to follow.
What's great about it: Good fight squences.
What's not so great: Too pricey for what it is.

This two disc set includes episodes 1-7 of the sci-fi anime series Mobile Suit Gundam 00, dropping in on the Gundam universe four years following the destruction of Celestial Being, and despite the Earth Sphere Federation's new sense of unification, the automatons that keep the peace employ brutal tactics, leaving people in need of the missing Gundam Meisters more than ever. Extras with the set include trailers and textless opening and closing songs.

What I expected.

The first part of Gundam 00 season two did a good job of bring you up to speed with what happened in season one, actually it suprised me considering Gundam Seed Destiny felt it necessary to smash your head in with the previous events. The action sequences were well done as to be expected, they did a good job droping in some more light-hearted scenes to break up all serious doom and gloom and there was good writing and voice acting (they tried to "lighten up" Setsuna, but he's still more like a tasteless box of mash-potatoes).
In the end, it's a very good series but it doesn't blow me away or anything like prevous ones, the storyline is good but, its kind of been there seen that deal. As Gundam goes though, its a must have for fans.
DVD extras don't go beyond trailers and textless themes, but its the standard edition.
What's great about it: Action sequences and reasonable price
What's not so great: Preachy "you are the problem" nature of the storyline.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Picking up two years after Seed ended, Destiny is a great continuation of the story, deep and well written. Unlike Seed, I hadn't ever seen an episode of Destiny on TV, but from the first episode I knew what to expect. It does a good job of making you want to watch the next one because each show is advancing the story, with the excepiton of the clip shows which there is too many of. I won't go into detail on the story line, but the PLANT chairman appears to want whats best for everyone while the Earth Alliance still wants to obliterate all the coordinators, but by episode six you'll see that the chairman has some tricks up his sleeve and by the end of the Box set it appears the whloe world is in danger. Just the right amount of comic relief and "fan service", not over the top. It can be ungodly slow in some spots, because when the writters got into a spot of the story where deeper explanation is needed, they dive in to flashbacks which they can never seem to get out of and in the end don't do alot of clearing up (The chairman talking about the current state of the world and wanting to change it and either, thinking back to his conversations with a blond haired man and his son, or the coordinators getting shot, or blue cosmos jerks running their mouths, which we saw thousands of times in Seed is a prime example). All that said, you can still piece the story gether with a little patience, all while watching some terrific mobilesuit battles that are even better than the first series. Only the Freedom and Strike Rouge carry over, all the other mobile suits are either updated or new designs.
Gundam Seed Destiny is definitly worth you time, especially if your a Gundam fan.
What's great about it: Great acting and animation.
What's not so great: To many clip shows and flashbacks.
