Good for Spots

It does do a good job on spots. For the best results you do need to soak up extra liquid before you put the spot bot on it. It is also a good idea to vacuum up the excess water left by the SpotBot to decrease drying time. The construction quality is quite good.
It does use a lot of cleaning chemicals. We only got 3 uses out of the samples that came in the box. From time to time I almost would rather have a full carpet cleaner, but if your just dealing with spots this is one of the best units out there.
What's great about it: Works well and is rugged
What's not so great: Uses a ton of chemicals
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is firmware?

It's the instructions that tell your hardware device how to work. It's like software for your computer.

Upgrading your firmware can allow access to newer features or support for newer devices. It is a little risky, because if the firmware isn't upgraded completely your device may be rendered unusable.
