Canon EF 8–15mm f/4L Fisheye USM Ultra-Wide Zoom Lens: Bring a whole new perspective to your photography with this ultra-wide fisheye zoom lens that captures unique and intriguing panoramic shots. Loved by professional photographers and amateurs alike, this Canon L-series lens delivers fine-tuned optics for stunning diagonal and circular images. Ultra-low dispersion (UD) glass reduces aberration, and advanced lens coatings enhance image quality.
I love fish-eye lenses in general and really like this one. I'm currently using this with a crop-sensor frame (T4i); at its widest setting, you'll get solid black corners (like vignetting, but...solid). Pricey, but I got it in sale at BB and saved $360. Great for a creative spin on all sorts of photography, from candid portraits to landscapes.
What's great about it: Gives that creative twist on wide angle.
What's not so great: Big glass up front, no protective filter...enough to make anyone nervous.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love how you can get SUPER close when doing candid portrait shots.
Enjoy reading even in dimly-lit conditions with this Barnes & Noble NOOK Simple Touch BNRV350 e-reader that features GlowLight technology for instant light that is adjustable at a simple touch. The 2GB capacity allows you to store up to 1,000 e-books.
So, I've had the original first gen iPad since just after it came out and have used it quite a bit as an e-reader. Never really had any complaints about it being hard on my eyes or anything like that, but I recently deployed overseas and I decided to leave the iPad at home for the family. I picked up the Glow Light NOOK shortly after I got here. I've read reviews that say it's not as tack sharp as the nooks/kindles w/o a glow light, but from my perspective it's still extremely sharp. Works great at night in a tent full of dudes trying to sleep...not too bright, but still plenty of light to read by. I've charged it once since getting it several weeks ago...an hour or so a night of reading and the thing's still going strong. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would happily recommend it to others.
This iMac features a brilliant 24" display that brings movies, games, graphics and more to life. The built-in iSight webcam and integrated microphone let you video chat with friends and family. Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard included
I was a mac user for many years, but bought a PC about 11 years ago because of work, etc, and haven't had a mac in my home in that long. I bought the iMac earlier this week and had it unpacked and checking my email in less than 30 minutes (most of that time was removing all the protective plastics too!). The ease of use is fantastic. Everything Mac is so streamlined for efficiency (and frankly just looks/feels cool!). All said, you can't argue the cost factor. Pound for pound, Macs are more expensive. I've heard the "you need to compare apples to apples" argument....personally, I like the auto metaphor....you want cheap, buy a Kia. You want quality, you'll pay the extra $$$ for something with some umph! Frankly, I was just tired of trying to squeeze pennies out of my Ford Focus. Metaphors are fun!
