Essential for a real cinema presentation!

The m5400pm is essential for anybody trying to get the absolute best out of their home theater system. Power conditioning with HIGH current outlets transformed my theater from a better than good system into a true audiophile contender. My previous power conditioner was a stage 2 design by monster. It did a decent job but nothing like the panamax. The sound and the picture are greatly improved as advertised. I give a lot of credit to the High Current outlets. I have read that this feature when implemented correctly vastly improves the performance of power hungry amps. My system has two power hungry amps. My Marantz receiver (130W; two Channels driven) and 12" Polk Sub (150W continuous / 300W peak) definitely responded with more detail and presentation. Basically instead of hearing the speakers and the Sub I heard one well balanced blend of sound. More slam; less rumble. The whole sound stage revealed as if my seat got moved up from the far side to the "Sweet spot." More resolution in audio; better color and motion in the video. Plus I know my voltage is clean and stable. After the opening scene of Mad Max Fury Road I realized I had made probably the best investment I could have made for my home entertainment.
I have heard some people say the operation is noisy but I can't hear a thing from my unit.

This is my fifth or sixth AudioQuest cable purchase and second power cable; I am never disappointed with the build quality or performance of their products. This time I wanted to see if their best two prong solution would enhance the performance of the my powered sub . I feel like the response is much better; and very musical. I'm using it with a Polk Audio PSW125 subwoofer.
As stated in another review; my NRG 1.5 also didn't come with the ferrite magnets pictured at both ends in the Best Buy product picture; I assume the latest designs don't require them; The pictures on AudioQuests website don't show them.

AudioQuest Rocket 33 Bi-Wire is an award-winning speaker cable that boasts an unrivaled combination of performance and value. Appropriate for biwirable speaker systems and terminated with high-quality silver-plated banana plugs, AudioQuest Rocket 33 Bi-Wire is a versatile high-performance speaker cable resolving enough for high-end audio systems, durable enough for studio use, and practical enough for most home entertainment systems. Rocket 33 uses a carefully finessed combination of AudioQuest’s Solid Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) and Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors in a Double Star-Quad configuration designed to reduce distortion for cleaner, clearer, more naturally detailed sound. Further, Rocket 33 features AudioQuest’s effective Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation, and, as with all AudioQuest cables, the conductors in Rocket 33 are Direction-Controlled to minimize the damaging effects of radio-frequency noise. Whenever possible, running separate cables to the treble and bass portions of a biwireable loudspeaker significantly reduces distortion. For these applications, an AudioQuest cable like Rocket 33 Bi-Wire keeps the large magnetic fields associated with bass energy out of the treble cable, allowing the delicate upper frequencies to travel a less disturbed path, like taking the waves out of the water when you swim. The result is smoother, clearer, more natural sound. With its thoughtful, time-tested combination of high-quality materials and design elements, AudioQuest Rocket 33 is an outstanding choice for all types of music, movies, and listening environments.

Everything Audioquest says on the box is true!

The rocket 33 is the entry level of the rocket series. I upgraded from Monster XP bulk spool cable. While the XPs sound good for the money there is a night and day difference in the sound integrity of all the material I listened to with the 33s. The immediate effect I heard when hooking up the 33s was the speakers disappearing (acoustically) from the room. No matter if its Norah Jones singing or the pure carnage of Mad Max its as if I'm really there. The second thing I realized after listening for a few hours was that I felt as if I could go on listening for hours more without my ears calling it quits. Listening fatigue is practically non existent. My only concern is how much its going to cost me to upgrade to the flat rock series and how much better those will sound. I'm using the cables with a pair of Polk Audio A3 bookshelves.

Are these a pair of bi-wiring cables? And what is the AWG?

Yes, this model (or SKU) represents a 10 ft pair (2) of single bi-wire cables in one box. They are 14 gauge cables (As listed in the Audioquest US retail price book May 2015 edition). Single Bi-Wire means the cable has two leads at the amp end and four leads, optimized for bass and treble, at the speaker end.
