Cary Judd is an almost un-human mix of styles. Not that the music sounds confused, it's totally cohesive music. My friends that consider themselves "indy efficianados" can appreciate this record and overlook the pop delivery and production, in the same breath I suspect more than a few high school football players will son own this album, I guess I'm trying to say these songs have a universal appeal. Mr. Judd has successfully mixed pop with an existential sweetness that has turned on a light in the corner of my brain I didn't know existed, it's quantum candy for the ears.
What's great about it: Thoughtful existential themes meets pop...
What's not so great: I'm surprised this is the first I've hard of him, just found out he has two previous albums.
