i bought these speakers and used them for about 6 days. i notice its a good speaker for a medium sized room at low levels. i notice the highs from the tweeters are clear and full of color. i notice the midrage speakers sound great too , they could sound a little fuller but that may be due to my poineer elite recievers settings. i feel the woofers are sensitive, the dial in the back is sensitive, the lows are not overly full and low but if you look at the specs the speaker is rated to 25hz. the bass radiators work perfecly. the only problem i have with these speakers overall , is the bass at higher levels sounds great , but wether high levels or low levels of volume, the bass seems to be a bit punchy. alot of punch for the bass more so then the actuall smooth blends of bass . but dont get me wrong the radiators do a great job at attempting to fill the bass , in my opinion its just not enough wether in a suround sound setting , which does do a great job, or in a music setting which , seems to need more in that field. so i upgraded to the bp8060st and it cured the problem.also as a note i play online games and the blasts and explosions sound very punchy also. simply noted these very fine speakers produce an excessive amount of punch, so when i play games i turn the bass all the way down to the minnimum setting.
What's great about it: clarity, quality,you get what you pay for.
What's not so great: excessive punch due to a small woofer
I would recommend this to a friend!

GPU (GRAPHICS)AND CPU CHIP COMBINED INTO ONE

USED TO HAVE 2 SEPERATE CHIPS, A CPU AND A GPU , THE GPU WAS FROM ATI , THE FAMOUS VIDEO CARD MAKER. NOW ITS ONE CHIP COMBINED, CPU/GPU CHIP. ENABLING THE XBOX TO BE SMALLER AND USE ONE QUIET FAN INSTEAD OF 2 LOUD FANS. AND IT ALL USES LESS POWER . 50 PERCENT LESS THEN THE FIRST XBOX360. I HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH OVER 8 XBOX360S, IVE SENT OUT 6 TO BE REPAIRED AND THE REPAIRED ONES BREAK TOO , I SUSPECT FROM HEAT . THE NEW SLIM MODEL RUNS QUIET AND COOL, I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH 2 OF MY ELITE MODELS. THEY BOTH CUT IN AND OUT WITH THE ONLINE PLAY AND WITH THE PARTY AUDIO, THE NEW SLIM MODEL DOES NOT DO THIS. THE GAMEPLAY IS SMOOTHER ONLINE AND THE PARTY AUDIO PROBLEM HAS GONE AWAY. I AM SUSPECTING FLAWS IN THE PAST ELITE XBOX360S AS FAR AS ONLINE GAMEPLAY AND ONLINE INTERACTION OVER THE XBOX360 SERVERS. I TESTED MY INTERNET CONNECTION WITH BOTH SPEED TESTS AND PING QUALITY TESTS THEY CAME BACK 100 PERCENT. I HAVE A WIRED CONNECTION WITH QUADSHIELDED CAT 6 WIRES. ITS NOT MY CONNECTION. I HOPE THE CHIP NOT BEING AN ATI CHIP WILL STILL PROVIDE STELLAR GRAPHICS. I NOTICE SOME LINES THAT WERE NOT PRESENT BEFORE ON THE SCREEN SOME HORIZONTAL LINES THAT WERE NOT PRESENT WITH THE ELITE MODELS. I GAME ONLINE ONLY I DO NOT CAMPAIGN SO THE ONLINE GAMEPLAY IS THE REASON WHY I BOUGHT THIS SLIM UNIT TO SEE IF IT WOULD IMPROVE AND IT SEEMS BETTER. I ALSO THINK THE KINECT IS A COOL FEATURE , NOT A PRIMARY ATTACHMENT I WILL USE BUT ITS STILL COOL TO HAVE. I WAS FORCED TO BUY TRHE KINECT MODEL BECAUSE THE 250 GIG WITHOUT IT WAS NOT BEING SHIPPED LIKE IT SHOULD BE FROM MICROSOFT.OVER ALL I AM SATISFIED . I PAID 383.00 AT SAMS CLUB FOR MINE(17 DOLLARS CHEAPER THEN BESTBUY.

I bought this router 5 days ago. Up and running in minutes. It was easy to get all of my devices connected. It was not until a couple of days of using this router that the problems started becoming very noticeable.
This router has been continuously dropping the internet connection. There is a firmware update coming sometime in the future that hopefully will fix the issue - I am using the latest firmware that is pubically available (version 70). For now, I am having a dozen or more dropped internet connections daily, requiring resetting of the router which takes about 2 minutes every time. It really is annoying when trying to download any large files from the internet such as movies from itunes and having to restart the download multiple times until your are successful of getting the file downloaded between internet dropped connections. My netgear router that is 5 years old never had problems like this.
The following WNDR4500 forum on Netgear's own website shows the frustration that users are experiencing with this same issue.

faster then my v600. happy with router

this router is an upgrade to my v600. when i pluged it in it was already set up!!!.when i used the genie software it works great. the genie is not the actual router login beware!!.
much faster smoother operation woth wired and wireless. i like the gigabit connection with my gigabit modem.i like the usb option so i will upgrade to an external storage everyone can access on the network. im not sure why there is a printer share feature when most printers have their own wifi software for sharing a printer. i look foward to using the dlna feature although i am unfamilliar.the parental feature is very nice and a free extra woth the router i like it , but i do not like how you cant set different security levels for each device unless they download the dns software and also need windows.
so how am i supposed to set seperate parental settings for lets say...... an ipod touch or an xbox or an internet device that does not have windows?..... parental settings is good but not the greatest, but still good. there are alot of features that are usable on this router. many other products have extra things to make a sale but are more or less cluttery and useless. performance is much better then the v600.
one thing i really like about this router is the channel auto select feature. it will auto select the best channel with the least interference. also the genie lists all other networks in your neighborhood and also tells you what channel they are on , so you can manually change channel for lower traffic on a different channel.

much better router then any other router i have ever ever ever used. you will have the edge if you but this router. very good router for living in a traffic infested neighborhood.
you have 2 access points 2 ghz and 5 ghz and you also can enable 2 more access points for guests and it gides your networks shared content.

recieved this a day ago and i was amazed how fast is started. 6 seconds to start the computer. and about 10 to 12 seconds to fully log into a windows account. that is much faster compared to my hp with an amd zm-85. runs cooler under the stamina setting. runs warm in the speed setting, but not hot.much cooler running machine compared to the hp with the amd zm-85 chip that runs at 2.3ghz. faster load time due to ssd hard drive. the hard drive enables the processor to use its full potential. audio is very nice the sound is drawn toward you, so i do not have to angle the lap top toward me like i did with the hp computer with srs audio. i like the v4 audio much better.if i go into the windows performance information best score is a 7.9, this processor is a 7.5, ram is a 7.6 graphics is a 5.9 3d gaming graphics is a 5.1 and hard drive is a 7.9 respectively. reason for the low graphics is due to the nvidia 640m le chip. the card is designed for slim laptops so it does not perform as well as the other nvidea cards, but it is still cutting edge tech. due to the power saving techniques this video card uses.in my opinion theres a good and a bad to this video card for the price of this computer.low rating on the graphics is disapointing.but if you want the battery life and mobility of this s series laptop theres a trade off.what i also am disapointed there is no blue ray player.the video card supports 3-d and the extra dvd platinium software supports creating blueray movies but no blue ray player.... i understand you can still make dvds but what about hd dvd? kinds confusing for an hd computer with a full 1080 screen with a hd 3-d video card and hd blue ray software but no blue ray..... lol its strange. maybe blue ray uses too much power? i do not know the answer to this. also note there is not fingerprint reader. i have one on my other computer, i think not having it gives you less start up software and its ok to use but entering a password is almost easier to do and you have one less program running. the picture is nice and i also tried world of warcraft free trial and it switches quickly between the game and windows, very nice.i like the sony options. you can also play your ps3 games on a sony laptop wirelessly. one thing i notice, when i search for my wifi network, it does not discover my wireless n 5ghz connection. only the 2.4 ghz wireless g.why? another disapointing discovery, although i had the computer one day maybe i missed something.maybe wireless n uses more power? maybe 5ghz uses more power?again i dont know. i think this is a great computer it is designed for mobility and they shaved off alot of power consuming features, this is showing attention to s series detail( mobility).i had to restart the computer the windows was acting slow . after the restaart it was back to normal, i suspect it was due to an update, it gave me an update alert after i restarted. and the computer is working fast. if you want a no bs computer that has power and doesnt suck down loads and loads of battery , then this computer is for you. you can also buy a tray style battery its flat and attaches underneath, and it gives you approx. 14 hrs of use on one charge.i will be getting this battery in the near future.i think its around 150 dollars. and its not heavy or bulky.i will be keeping this computer, too bad i did not get a sale price on it , but its a brand new model so i am happy

now ive owned this computer about a week and a half or 2 weeks. and i realize now maybe this plastic feeling lid is a metal lid. it feels plastic. but it gets cold like a metal. so i think its the metal alloy.also the computer is very fast , start up times are so fast i will never go back to an hdd hard drive again. i feel even though you have a fast chip, the hdd will always slow the computer down.this is now eliminated, and whatever processor you use, will be used as intended.i wanted to note the stamina switch is very effective, i get twice the battery life when on stamina.also wanted to mention the full hd screen is amazing, every time i look at the wallpaper i am amazed. i thought my old laptop was fast, when i went back and used it, it seemed soooo slow i wantted this laptop back instantly.funny to think a laptop with 7200 rpm hdd and a amd zm-85 turion chip at 2.2 ghz is slow lol.i feel this laptop is well worth the money, also i play skyrim on it with a xbox controllerand with detail on high it plays very nice,i didnt try it on my 40 inch tv yetwith the hdmi port.also most important this computers audio sounds amazing, the dolby v4 support blows me away. this is far better then srs audio on my previous laptop. any audio on youtube or a game or music sounds amazing very clear with fully saturated sounds.ive entered my share of bad reviews. i gave a samsung 8000 series hd tv a bad review for example., but ill tell you this, buy this laptop, it is superb, sony did an outstanding job i am very impressed.

Excellent machine, very fast, very quiet. loaded with good software. Very good graphics. however I would have liked to see the real office come with it. This is my fourth sony VAIO laptop, and so far, the best. I would recogmend it for anyone in school or business.I give it a 9.7 out of 10.
final note, the BEST BUY on line catalog describes this machine as being equiped with a finger print reader, not so!! I very was unhappy when I received the unit and it was not there. catalog error......

maybe the fingerprint reader is the screen . i touch mine and it makes my backlight keyboard light up. why not go for the 1779. dollar sony. it has the 3rd gen 17 with 2 gig dedicated ( nvidea 40m le with cuda technology) i think its well worth it. gotta love the dolby v4 technology.
