If you must have one of the SF movies, make sure it's this one. It's actually a fun watch and doesn't make you want to dragon punch your TV like Legend of Chun Li does. I'll always enjoy Julia's portrayal of Bison and I gave high marks to the acting for that.
What's great about it: ENDLESS pool of funny quotes that keep me laughing today.
What's not so great: JCVD played an American? -__-
This is one of the most poorly written movies ever conceived. They simply hacked at and butchered the source material until there was nothing left, took that nothing, and used it to put together a "movie" that resembles an amateur film project. If you are a fan of all that is Street Fighter, avoid anything related to this blasphemy at all costs. Trust me, you will be disappointed by much more that just the inaccurate portrayal of the characters. The lead "Actress" doesn't even know the meaning of the word and her most spectacular action scene involves pushing somebody into a bike rack. Every aspect of this movie was nothing more than a parody of the source material. I still ask myself how this movie was even approved by Capcom. Do not even watch this if you have no idea what Street Fighter is because as a decent, popcorn action flick, it also fails in many ways. The plot is just ridiculous and everything from the staged action scenes to the fighting choreography is laughable at best.
