Poor tilt lock
on August 24, 2010

Very weak lock screw. Will not hold TV in place, so it will sag to the right. I'm returning it tomorrow. Poor design and does not support the weight it advertises.
What's great about it: Easy to install
What's not so great: Will not lock in place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't Cheap-Out!
By PohopocoJones from Pocono Mtns., PA
After reading reviews from others who had purchased much less expensive mounts that "looked" like this one, my wife and I were very leary of getting the right thing. We mounted a 26" flat screen w/built in DVD player on the wall in our kitchen with this model, and it worked out great.
The plate that mounts to the back of the tv has a swivel that allows the set to be tipped up or down and/or rotated. We highly recommend that you get the angle you want, then torque this bad boy tightly! You won't be able to easily adjust it after it's tight, but it's difficult to lossen it and tighten it snuggly once it's up on the wall (especially if it's up high). If you don't re-tighten it well, the tv will slowly droop on the swivel!
Otherwise, the thing is made from solid cast aluminum parts, all of the hardware for any type of flat screen tv is included, it bolts securely to a wall stud and the wire managment system works well to wrangle the power and coax neatly.
You definately get what you pay for with these things. It's shameful to think that it costs about 30% of the price of the tv, but if you're looking to save money, save it on something else or you'll be sorry you didn't!

Poor design
August 24, 2010
The tilt and swivel joint is tightened by one screw. It does not apply enough pressure to keep the tv in the position you want it. The TV will sag to the right and will not stay level. The rest of the entire bracket is made perfectly except for the most important part. It is absolutely awful and I am returning it. Do Not Get This Mount! What a drag.
