Great sounding unit for the money.Easy to operate and the ONLY low priced unit I could find that lets you hook up to a component.I use these to listen to what I am recording into my computers from a record players. If you just wanted to listen to a radio, this will work great.I play back my CD's that I record from vinyl, and it plays excellent.I very much recommend this player/radio...top shelf for the dough!
What's great about it: Good sound, component hookup & decent speakers!
What's not so great: Nothing really, just a solid piece of electronics

good if it had a better cd/dvd printing set up

I purchased this unit to replace my Epson artisian 710. I mainly use the cd/dvd print feature , Cannon unit doesn't hold a candle to Epson where this feature is concerned. As for other features,i never got that far, too busy trying to figure out the cd/dvd feature. If you want cd/dvd printing, seek out an Epson artisian 710 or 725.

Epson 710 vs Canon with CD printing feature
July 30, 2013
I have BOTH of these printers. The Epson does print CD's much easier, until you learn how to work the Canon. The thing about the Epson is if you do NOT BUY their ink,you will have a very hard time getting the printer to work.I am going through this problem again with the Epson.I am now going to get another Canon because that problem does not exist. With the Canon CD printer, here are the steps.Put your CD in the slide.Open the inside door, then close it.Open it again and insert the slide to where the arrows meet on the left side. Hit the 'OK' button and then it will take your CD inside to print. Which by the way, does a beautiful job. Great colors. Also make sure you install the Canon program for the CD. If you don't you will need a box of Crayolas to do your CD. It's really simple once you get used to it.
