Pretty good, pretty useful

Verified Purchase:Yes
Overall Nero 11 is pretty easy to use and burns/copies cd's, dvd's and blu-ray discs. I like the fact that it came with a cover designer and lightscribe software. The only real complaint I have is that it doesn't convert video files into dvd video's. Otherwise it's a good product that I typically use almost dailly.
What's great about it: burns variety of discs
What's not so great: doesn't convert video files into dvd files like previous versions

Ridiculously over-engineered? Or the perfect case for your iPod touch no matter where you're headed?. We think it's a little bit of both. Simply put, the Griffin Survivor Case is the most protective case we've ever built. Tested and certified to meet or exceed US Department of Defense Standard 810F and UK Department of Defense Standard 00-35, Griffin's Survivor Extreme-Duty Case is designed from the inside out to protect your iPod touch from extreme conditions ... dirt, sand, rain, shock, vibration and a host of other environmental factors. Survivor is built on a shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame clad in rugged, shock-absorbing silicone. A built-in screen protector seals your Multi-Touch display from the outside environment, and hinged plugs seal the dock connector, camera lens, headphone port, hold switch and volume controls. A detachable heavy-duty clip secures your iPod touch to a belt or bag strap. Survivor is independently tested and verified to meet or exceed environmental testing standards for blown rain, blown dust and grit, vibration, shock, temperature and humidity. Compatible with iPod touch 5th and 6th generation.

I purchased a case like this for my 4th generation iPod touch, and it worked great. It got sprayed with water and droped on several occations and it fit very well. So I purchased the similar case for my 5th generation iPod Touch. It fits well, but the rubber on the front at the top and bottem face doesn't stay fitted to the cae. and the rubber over the button doesn't even touch it untill it's pressed. The cover over the rear camera is easier to use, and the belt clip is beefier than the previous version. And you can actually hear the iPod without the ear buds. Overall I'd recomend it, but I think the quality leave's some to be desired.
What's great about it: Better than a naked iPod
What's not so great: quality isn't as good as I expected.

Great protection

I had a 3rd Generation iPod touch that through my normal use got pretty damaged - scratched screen, damaged speaker. Previous screen protecters didn't really cut it. This case covers the ENTIRE iPod, including the docking port and ear phone port. It provides great overall protection, as well as ease of use of iPod functions. The one problem I have is if you have the auto brightness on for the screen, it's always dark, but you just have shut the auto bright off.
What's great about it: Great overall protection and easy to use.
What's not so great: Makes screen dark with the auto brightness on.

Great movie about the hell these soilders go through.

I purchased a film version of the Canon Rebel almost 20 years ago, and purchased the original Digital Rebel which was great. I just got this today, and the picture quality is just amazing. I still haven't figured out all the features, but I'm primarily using it for the pictures. and it certainly doesn't disappoint! 18.0 mega-pixal versus 6.3 is a huge difference. And the movable lcd screen is a big help. The great thing about having a camera like this is - you can use most if not all the accessories from the previous model, like the lenses. I would definetely recommend this.
What's great about it: The manual make's using is really easy.
What's not so great: Nothing.

Great! But get a good memory card
By ipod1234 from minnesota
Great camera, takes amazing quality pictures and has a nice clear swivel screen. I have a transcend class 10 memory card and when testing movies in 1080, after about 8 seconds the camera stopped recording automatically. the reasons for this is either overheating (this wasn't the case) or a bad memory card. I am going to get a sandisk extreme III card to see if this issue goes away (hopefully my camera isn't defective?). Once this happened, I was able to restart recording, and I only had the problem in 1080, not in 720 so hopefully the new card will prevent this. You can only use the cool digital zoom in 1080 video so I want to be able to use it. Also I LOVE the creative filters...the soft filter especially, it makes pictures look soft and pretty, and you get 3 levels to choose from. Miniature and toy camera are fun too!

Memory card
May 22, 2011
I have a class 4 SD memory card that works fine in the movie mode. The manual suggests at least a class 6. Of course video will take up a lot of memory really quick. So you might want to spend the extra money on a 16+ gigabyte card. Good luck!

I've been using this camera for a few months now. It's a lot lighter then the older models, which is good. I do a lot of outdoor shooting so the "sport" setting works well for action shots. I also purchased a battery grip and a couple extra batteries, so I can literally go a month or more before I have to recharge a battery. I hardly use the LCD screen unless I'm shooting video, so it's nice that it flips over and stays protected. Even in low light (outdoor), the camera still takes great pictures without the flash. Still a great camera!

3G? 4GS?
March 31, 2012
Hate to tell everyone, but the iPod touch DOESN'T get cell phone reception, so it DOESN'T qualify as 3G or 4GS. They only pick up regular old wi-fi.

I wound up calling Griffien Technologies tech support, I wound up not having the plastic face plate on right. The face plate goes over the rubber, not the other way around. Now that it's on correctly, it fit's and work's even better than the 4th gen. version. It's worth at least a solid 4.5 to 5 rating.
