I got a the new Galaxy S7 2 weeks ago after shattering the screen on my S5. I've been an InvisibleShield user and believer since I got my first smartphone (iPhone 3g). However, in a moment of stupidity, I opted against paying $30 for a screen protector for my S5 and was using it naked because of the promise of a very durable screen.
So naturally, when I got my S7 I went all in on protection and got the HDX with its 3x Shatter Protection. I had some issues with edges when I opted to install it myself instead of paying to have a pro at BestBuy do it. That resulted in the edges peeling up (see the first 2 pictures)
I went back to BestBuy, had the HDX replaced and paid to have a GeekSquad pro install it this time. To my dismay, he had the same problem I did, the HDX edges won't stay down due to the slight curve at the screen edge of the S7. So now again, I have a screen protector that peels up and because of where it does, it makes using the screen a challenge at time, collects dust and lint like crazy and the lines are really annoying when watching videos on it.
Long story short, I'm pretty disappointed in the quality zagg put out there this time! Did they ever test these on an actual S7 before putting them out there for consumers?! I've owned 5 smartphones now and have had zagg on 4 of them and they have all been excellent until now... this protector isn't worth $5, let alone $35!
