Unit is very solid feeling and sturdy and has good gasket seals. However, when we installed it, we must have torqued down the cover too much on one side or the other and left the unit somewhat twisted. The cover was very difficult to open after that and eventually (after only 3-4 times opening it) the cover snapped off. The plastic pins holding it in place to the base just broke off. I am ordering another one because I think it we get it in level and un-twisted, it will be a great protective cover for our head unit.
What's great about it: Very sturdy, solid feel. Good gasket seal.
What's not so great: So sturdy that you have to make sure it is flush/not warped. Cover broke because of twisting during install.
