scoller's Reviews

This release includes all 24 episodes of the fantastical sci-fi anime series Chrome Shelled Regios, following the story of Rosette Christopher, one of the most skilled exorcists in 1920s New York. As part of the Order of Magdalene, she travels to wherever demons are seeping through to this world and causing trouble so that she can exterminate them. With the power of God and the power of machine-gun fire, Sister Rosette and young Chrono will cleanse New York of its demonic problems.

Weird science fiction anime

The story has potential. You have your main character who has to leave town for secretive reasons. He's insanely powerful, but acts careless when not fighting. He makes friends fairly easily, and of course has enemies who know him from his old town. There are the typical monsters that must be fought, as well as military school drama. However, the plot is confusing. Characters are introduced and nothing is actually done with them. There's this weird inner story and it's never really clear if it has to do with the main story. At the end a character seemingly turns bad out of no where. It just all is a little disjointed. The fighting and animation is good. I enjoyed the interactions between characters, but at the end, it left me with an unfinished feeling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How Often Used:Daily
I was looking for something to replace the ones I had, and really wanted ones with volume control, but those are nearly impossible to find for a decent price. These do the job, they're lightweight and a good size.
What's great about it: Comfortable, with a good legnth of cable.
What's not so great: No volume control on the cord or phones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
