If you enjoyed Project 86 in the past, then this album is a must have!! If you haven't heard from them, then this is a great CD to start with. It has some of their heavier songs, along with some of their more mellow songs. Enjoy!

The two-disc special edition of David Fincher's Seven should more than satisfy hard-core fans of the film by dramatically improving on the initial, single-disc version of the film. It boasts excellent audio options: English Dolby EX 5.1, DTS ES Discreet 6.1 and Stereo Surround Sound, with subtitles available in English and French. It also features incredible picture quality in an anamorphic widescreen letterbox format, remastered from the original negative and set at a theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. The special features are abundant, including four feature length audio commentaries by David Fincher, Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman and others, deleted scenes and extended takes, the original theatrical trailer, a DVD-ROM "John Doe" website that probes the killer's mind with his fan sites, reading list, his photo gallery and a penetrating look at the seven deadly sins; alternate endings to the picture with animated storyboards to illustrate them and an electronic press kit, and several galleries with production designs and stills.

This is my all time favorite anime series!!! This show is NOT for the faint of heart! This has everything: the blood, guts, gore, and everything else in between. But the story and plot are the BEST I have seen in an anime series. Buy. Now.

Todd McFarlane's acclaimed comic series comes to the screen in all its grim glory with this release featuring all 18 episodes of the animated series. Al Simmons (voice of Keith David) was a killer-for-hire under a government contract when he unexpectedly died in a fire and found himself in Hell. Desperate to see his wife again, Simmons made a deal with the Devil to lead his armies on Earth in exchange for spending time with the woman he loves. Now Simmons works in collusion with the horrific Clown (voice of Michael Nicolosi) as he struggles to do Satan's bidding while following his own agenda.

This is the complete series of Spawn on a 4 disc collection. This series was originally shown on HBO, and for good reason. If you are looking for a nice show to watch, STAY FAR AWAY!! But if you are looking to watch Spawn as it was meant to be watched, then look no further.

Removed from the typical futuristic element of most Japanese animated adventures, this 1994 feature takes place in more of a sword-and-sorcery epic set in feudal Japan. Jubei Kipagami, a ninja mercenary, wanders the countryside in search of work. On his travels, he encounters Kagero, a female ninja whose poisoned blood causes her pale skin to be lethal to the touch. Jubei rescues the woman from Tessai, a creature made of rock. They later find that Tessai is one of the Eight Devils of Kimon, who are involved in a plot to overthrow the Shogun. A story of impossible love between Jubei and Kagero is somewhat interesting, but the true draw of Ninja Scroll is its action sequences. The dazzling swordplay of Japanese live-action samurai movies is not often seen in the animated genre, which tends more towards science fiction; however, this animated work has fight scenes in abundance. Although its content is too strong for children, adult fans of Japanese animation, samurai films, and fantasy should find it enjoyable.

Ghost in the Shell, following in the footsteps of Akira, is one of the most critically acclaimed animated movies of the 1990s. Director Mamoru Oshii's bleak cyber-punk anime makes for a good, but flawed DVD. Picture quality is outstanding. The 1.85:1 widescreen transfer does the movie's bold vision justice, and color contrast is excellent. The sound, however, is problematic. The English dialogue track is very good, the voice acting is acceptable, and the sound effects are commanding. Turning on the subtitles while listening to the Japanese audio track, however, reveals flaws. The voice acting on the Japanese track is particularly awkward; the actors simply read their lines without emotion. Also, sound effects are buried on the Japanese track, no matter how loud the volume. The DVD's special features are not as exciting as the case's artwork would have viewers believe. The 30-minute "making of" featurette is dull and offers little insight or substantive information; it's similar in nature to the promos found on cable television, but infinitely less professional and interesting. The theatrical trailer is also a waste of time. "A Guide to Ghost in the Shell" brings up nine areas of background information, such as character bios, crew bios, a plot summary, and some design information. Ghost in the Shell is Grade-A anime and maybe a Grade-B DVD.

From Japanese anime authority Manga Entertainment comes this nicely designed disc. The film is presented widescreen (but not anamorphic) with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and shows no signs of flaws. The soundtrack choices are English Dolby Digital 5.1, English Dolby Digital 2.0, Japanese Dolby Digital 5.1, and Japanese Dolby Digital 5.1 with English subtitles. Set up like a website for the film's star, the "Mima's Room" section of the disc houses all of the extras. "Cham" features the Japanese pop group of the film recording in the studio. "Some Photos I Took" is a three-minute animated slide show of stills from the movie. "My Favorite Videos" is a four-minute slide show ad for various Manga Entertainment videos. "My Favorite DVDs" is a listing for various Manga Entertainment products. "Meet Some of My Friends" features short interviews with the English Mima, the English Aumi, the Japanese Mima, Mr. Me-Mania, and director Satoshi Kon. Though heavy on self-promotion, this is a nicely assembled disc.
