It's difficult to find someone who contributed as much to television as Norman Lear did in the 1970s (and beyond), and this 19-disc set collects seven of Lear's most beloved, influential, and socially conscious shows in one package. Included are the pilot episodes and first seasons of Maude, All in the Family, Sanford and Son, The Jefferesons, Good Times, One Day at a Time, and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, as well as hours of retrospective interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.

A Great Father's Day Gift

from Baldwin,
I recently bought a laptop for my Dad for Father's Day but he has trouble with his eye site with the images on the small screen. So I decided to purchase some DVD's for the big screen T.V.
This wouldn't have been possible without the help from several individuals who work for Blockbuster. First, I called customer service and spoke with Jacob about being able to return the laptop and exchange it for the Norman Lear TV Collection. He called and spoke to Monica at the Baldwin store who was extremely helpful in helping me thru the red tape of returning the item and ordering it from the internet to arrive in time for Father's Day.
Now Dad has hours of classic TV programs to watch thanks to Jacob, Monica and Best Buy.I'll review the discs next week...
Thank You!
