Explore a wide range of apps on your LG UHD 4K smart OLED TV. It has a user interface that lets you connect your mobile devices and enjoy watching shows from a variety of streaming services. This LG UHD 4K smart OLED TV has more than eight million pixels that deliver four times the resolution for an Ultra HD experience.
My last TV was 1080p Panasonic plasma which was (at the time I purchased) the best display available for my home theater. Great picture/colors/black levels/shadow detail in a dark room. This OLED is better than the plasma in all aspects. My wife was originally asking why I needed a new TV, but after watching 'KungFu Panda 3' last night she said "Great TV!'. If you knew the wife you would understand how big an endorsement this was. My only complaint was with the BB 'free delivery'. The soonest delivery times available were 3 weeks out. Really!! BB really needs to fix this. Who wants to wait 3 weeks for a new TV ?! My only complaint with the TV were the setup instructions. Since I didn't want to wait for delivery, I picked up my self. LG does not include a 'quick setup guide' for this TV- like every other manufacturer does with their components- and the little picture guide showing how to attach the base was for curved model, not this flat screen. Also the manual, remote and screws for attaching the base were buried in the bottom of the box. I honestly thought they had forgotten to include them until I removed the last piece of styrofoam from the bottom of the box. Pretty poor packaging and instructions for a high priced component. LG should take a look at how OPPO and Emotiva pack their components and include complete setup guides to see how to do it right. First impressions do last. I probably should have given only 3 or 4 star rating because of the problems with delivery and packaging/instructions, but the picture is just sooo darned good I had to give it five stars.
Experience the theatrical versions of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in stunning high definition. Three DVDs featuring over six hours of bonus materials are also included, as are digital copies of each film.

Peter Jackson and New Line decided to NOT release the extended version. These same people released King Kong with both the theatrical and extended version on the same disc, so the technology is there to do it. They have chosen not to do it, apparently in the hopes that I will buy 2 more versions of the trilogy. I bought the original dvd's, then the extended version dvd's. I will not buy this version of the blurays. I will wait for the extended version blurays. At that point I will raise my rating to 5 stars. Shame on Peter Jackson and New Line.
What's great about it: These are my favorite movies of all time
