LED's above Fireplace
Will the heat from a fireplace mess with the TV mounted above the fireplace? How far above the fireplace should a TV be?
You shouldn't see a problem with your TV mounted above a fireplace, unless the sill of the fireplace is less then 2". In which case the heat from the fire (whether it be artificial or real) will shorten the life of the LCD panel by about 25% less then projected. But not too much to worry about.
If it is plasma you may see discoloration as plasma uses heat to change colors.
