Knowing absolutely nothing about Shad I took the advice of a reputable rap blogger and purchased this CD. I haven't regretted that decision for even a second. Shad brings a refreshing, upbeat, and basic style that hip-hop greatly lacks these days. He highlights rap and societal issues in a way that doesn't sound abrasive or preachy seemingly without effort. A must buy for true hip-hop heads.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: No picture of artist in the album art/extras
Linkin Park has consistently altered their style the last few albums in a continual attempt at redefining themselves. I enjoyed this new album but am more a fan of their first few releases.
What's great about it: Variety of themes, musical styles
After just a few listens I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this wholesome, authentic album. Just the right amount of features and varied themes and production. Keep up the good work Bruno.
