I liked the new way of presenting Kirk, Spock and the others in the alternate reality. The black hole concept was unique. I would have liked to have seen Scotty earlier, but it wouldn't have fit with the new storyline. Captain Pike was well presented and I liked that. Sulu was also great. The older Spock was unexpected, but very well done. I liked that he did the ending with the "Space, the final frontier" speech. That gave me goosebumps. JJ Abrams did an excellent job of taking a classic and giving it a new and exciting twist.
What's great about it: The plot and actors were good and the way the new reality was presented was a good way to keep it fresh.
What's not so great: The Spock and Uhura relationship almost made her look like a golddigger.
I love the Tinkerbell movies. The kid in me loves the cute fairies and Pixie Hollow. The grown-up in me loves the message of friendship and learning the value of it. Disney does a great job of giving animated characters life, personality and substance. I thought Blaze the lightning bug was adorable.
What's great about it: Cute, sweet, charming movie about friendship and learning about how to rely on friends to get through your problems.
