As a bootleg collector, I can tell you that this concert has long been considered as probably the best video of one of the best Stones shows ever. This is not a bunch of old guys slogging through a stale collection of greatest hits the way the Stones are today. With lead guitarist Mick Taylor, the band was fiery and full of life. The fact that there is a great recording of this band when they were actually a force to reckoned with live is something to be celebrated. This version of the Stones JAMS! It's closer to a really good, early Black Crowes concert than the geriatric greatest hits recitations the Mick and Keef have been charging buttloads of cash for since the 80's.
So, BUY, BUY, BUY this. Buy it for a friend. But it for a colleague. Buy it for anyone who likes music. This concert rules.
What's great about it: The Stones at the absolute best.
What's not so great: The packaging could come with more stuff and the DVD could have more extras.
