I have had these now for almost a year now and love the sound but basically didn't fulfill the reason why I got them. I had a pair of afterglow and they were good but uncomfortable after wearing them for at least 20 mins or so. Being that these were "mlg" preferred I figured they would be more comfortable. Definitely not the case.. I wish Xbox and PlayStation would just allow you to use any headphones. Wish I could use my power beats and just call it day!

First I would like to express the disappointment I had of best buy because I ended having to get this speaker from target because they had them at least a week before. Nonetheless, I will review it here since I'm a more frequent customer at best buy.
I've owned the first generation of these speakers and I loved it! It was very loud and the bass hit hard for a small speaker. Of course being 1st generation it had flaws, distortion at low volumes, and the design was to round. It would fall over easy.
Now I have the new generation.. To my surprise the cost was the same but with more features. First obvious is the fact that it's waterproof! Never really worried much about this before but now I can use it where I thought I couldn't. Second is the size, its bigger in size but, I feel the old version had better bass. Good news also, there isn't any distortion when played at low volume. I've noticed that it is louder to. Overall I love this one more. I love that it looks like a mini extreme and of course the waterproof is a huge plus!
Definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a speaker of this kind, that sounds great and isn't very expensive!
