Big sound, tiny battery

Pros: Big, movie theater sound. Convenient controls on the headset itself. I like the attached mic and how it mutes when flipped into the up position. The range is also nice compared to my last set of wireless cans, I can pretty much walk anywhere in my apartment without the sound cutting out. They're also the most comfortable set of over the ear headphones I've ever worn. Did I say big sound?
Cons: The battery life. I made it though about 6 hours of constant use before it needed to be plugged in again. This is a little less than the 8-10 the box says. You can listen and charge, but the included charging cable is very short. Its a mini USB, so you can supplement your own cable if you have one (I'm using the controller charging cable that came with the Xbox one). You CAN use this headset with the PS3 as well, but you have to supply your own cable that plugs into the headset/controller for chat.
Overall, a nice set of headphones. Not sure they're worth the $300 just yet. If I didn't have a gift card I probably would have gone with something a bit cheaper.

Worst of 2010

I thought this movie was going to be awesome, as I am a fan of "classic" 1980s action movies. I was thoroughly disappointed. Sorry excuse for a plot, horrible acting, and a 65 your old Stallone spending too much time without his shirt on. (Jean Claude Van Dame turned down a role because he thought the script was bad. When Van Damme turns down your script, time to consider scrapping the project, or at least a re write) I have no idea how this has a 4.8 out of five right now. Spend your money on a better movie.
What's great about it: I didn't fall asleep in the theater
What's not so great: It didn't put me out of my misery by letting me fall asleep

One of the best films of 2009

Wow. THat is the first thing I thought when this film was over. It seemed like a breath of fresh air, something new in a summer filled with sequels and remakes. It puts a new twist on the common si-fi story of aliens visiting earth. District 9 takes place in Johannesburg South Africa. A large alien ship hovers over the town, setting up the story from the very first image on the screen. There is one thing about this story that sets it apart from other alien movies. The aliens are not here to invade the planet, eat our brains, or to share technology with us. They are refugees, starving and diseased. And I'll let you figure out the rest of the story from there. The film is presented in an odd fashion. About half is presented in an almost documentary style, with interviews spaced in between news footage and the infamous "shaky cam". The other half feels like a normal fictional movie. This may be annoying for some viewers, but the transitions between the two styles are seamless. The "shaky cam" is not overdone, it feels just about right. This original style really immerses you into the film, and makes you genuinely care about the characters. The acting is just superb. Sharlto Copley, who plays the lead role, does an amazing job. It is hard to believe this is his first major acting role.
You really need to see this film!! Don't get turned off by the first few minutes, it takes a little getting used to. I think you will be happy with it.
I read a few posts back that someone said this is an English movie. It is not. It was made in South Africa, by South African director, with all South African actors. One more note, there is LOTS of swearing and LOTS of violence in this movie. Not for children.
What's great about it: New twist on tired aliens visit earth genre
What's not so great: The style of this film takes a little getting used to.
