Good overall basic appliance.

I bought this range to replace a fairly standard mid-eighties similar 4 burner oven range that had developed all sorts of time, on / off and temperature regulation / control problems. It would have cost several hundred dollars to fix thee range if I could even get the repair parts. For $400.00 this range is a one-for-one replacement of the old range, except that it is all computer / digital control oriented. The controls are really quite easy to learn and undeerstand and the temperature regulation is clearly much more precise than the old analog mid-eighties range. There are not a lot of extra, expenssive "bells & whistles" in this product. There is just good, reliable old fashion value. If you are looking for fancy convection or integrated cooking surface system appliance, this is the wrong purchase for you. If you are looking for outstanding value in a range with full computerized temperature controlled burners and oven / broiler functions, this is a GREAT value without a lot of hype and nonsense!

Good overall Smartphone - a little bit techie

This is a well engineered device, with a large good quality display, VERY good battery life, the versitile Android OS and good signal strength and reception in all general areas (of course, as always, this will depend on your location at any time). The Android OS is not as "user friendly " as the iPhone OS, but it is much more versatile. The big screen makes touch entries much easier (less "fat finger" mistakes on small touch style keyboards) and viewing almost anything is much more clear and FUN. My only personal drawback that I find is that, when housed in a strong, protective "Otter Box" case, it is rather bulky to clip to your waist band and can get brushed or snapped off getting in or out of a car seat belt system or bending and moving a lot. I now usually carry it in a shirt pocket or front pocket in my Levis "Dockers" at work. Anyone that likes this phone's features can find a way to adapt to it's size. I was used to a fairly small PDA / Smartphone before buying this one. While "size matters" a little, it should not stop anyone that likes the phone's great features from buying it. I have a month's experience with this device - purchased July 2nd. I may not have all the answers, but these mentioned characteristics are pretty solid!
What's great about it: Battery!!! display, general operation, versatile and feature rich device.
What's not so great: A little on the "big" size - especially when in an Otter case, but that is the trade-off for the large screen size.
I would recommend this to a friend!
