Technical Ecstasy is the seventh studio album by the British heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in September 1976. The album was certified Gold in1997 and peaked at number 51 on the Billboard Pop Album chart.Technical Ecstasy continued the band's separation from its signature doom and darkness that had been a trademark of the sound of their earlier albums. While Technical Ecstasy's lyrics dealt with varied topics, the music itself was seldom dark. The band continued experimenting with keyboards and synthesizers more so than previous albums. Ozzy Osbourne briefly left the band following the release of the album. He would eventually return for Technical Ecstasy's supporting tours and the follow-up album, Never Say Die!, before being fired for his unreliability in 1979. Also note: "It's Alright" was written and sung by drummer Bill Ward

The sting in the tail cd was supposed to be the last cd and they were retiring so I dunno, I bought this I love the classics they redid that jams however I am not a big fan of the other tracks, its o.k. but Sting in the Tail was a great way to end their careers and not this.....Sorry but true and I own every Scorpions release
What's great about it: redoing classic scorpions songs
Soulfly is a great band and have been around for a while now and with its latest release ENSLAVED they continue their destructive path of thrash metal at its finest. Its a typical Soulfly cd. Nothing new however thats not a bad thing cuz Max Cavalera always delivers so if you like thrash metal you will continue to love this. If your a metal fan period, this is a cd you will buy. I give it a 7/10.
What's great about it: Its typical Soulfly - Max Lives!

the last twenty years Iron Maiden has released some really good gems and their on this set. No granted it doesnt touch the early 70's and 80's classic Maiden era songs but these tracks are not filler but great Maiden tunes to be celebrated and enjoyed!
Steve Dawson and Graham Oliver's version of Saxon is very good. Its like getting a bonus band of Saxon of their glory era of 81-94. I like it a lot . I thought it was cool that Pete Gill (formerly of Motorhead) was on its only recorded studio Cd called SON OF A B****-VICTIM YOU. For those of you who know that is what the original Saxon was called before changing their name to Saxon. This cd is a nice change of pace. Even though the vocals sound Paul Di'Anno'ish in a way and I like it! Treat this cd for what it is. A bonus to the original band Saxon. Enjoy both bands
What's great about it: Good Band
What's not so great: No pubilicity on this version of Saxon
